So the question is let's say I'm playing Road to Legend on steam, but I have to stop playing for the night. Anyway to 'pause' and 'resume' the following night without leaving the PC and program open?

And I mean during game-play, like when you're still in a dungeon, I want to pause there. Thanks!

I know this is old but seeing as you haven't gotten any answers I thought I'd reply. I don't know about the PC version but we play on the Ipad version and it specifically states that your progress is saved at the start of each new round, and the end of a quest or when you leave the city so those are the save points you have to work with.
