Go ahead!
(I've already cornered the Magna puns for Barda's extended family ...)
So we'll have Crash fly them to Barda's clan?

May we use those Advantages to reduce our Strain from the idea of flying with Crash and the Clanker , representing our relief at arriving at our destination in one piece?
(Just joking!)

Well.. you would recover the stress by the time you arrive on the next planet anyway
I vote for @Bellona to cover the trip since it's to her character's place.
@RuusMarev , in this case it's generally a particular item like a table saw rather than a collection of tools. Both pictured would fall under the "tool kit" rubric. The "specialist tool" template is for singular items. Table saw, workbench with perks, etc.

Just making sure..
This shuttle is about the size of a small bus or Van.. might get a bit cramped
I'll post something longer IC later today (Sunday).
Does anyone have any opinion on the Disguise Kit suggestion? It's only 100 credits ...
Barda might know a Great Canyon actress by the name of Magna Opus who could either sell the group one or point them to a supplier of disguise kits. (Yes, I know that the declension is not correct for that name, but I wanted to keep to the theme for the extended Magna family.)
Would Barda be able to pick up any trade goods (other and smaller than the specialist tools) from or with the help of her mother, Magna Te?

Don't see why not, as long as it'll fit in the ship
I think the disguise kit suggestion is a good idea.
Sorry, I haven't got the IC post ready yet - RL is usually busy on the weekends, but it got (unexpectedly) even more busy on Sunday.
So I'm still working on that IC post.
Who wants to buy the disguise kit? Barda knows someone who could sell one to the party, but Barda herself is basically broke (which is one reason why she wants to sell those specialist tools).
ETA:
The IC post has been made, covering the trip between the Nightsister lands and the arrival at Smoking Thunder in the Great Canyon clan lands. I tried to wax a bit descriptive, but if the flavour doesn't match this campaign's canon then I can adjust it.
I figure that the group could have a short conversation (possibly shopping too), then Barda arrives back with the cargo to be put aboard the Clanker/Clunker (did we decide upon a final version of that?).
Do we have comlink contact with each other?

Sienna will pick up the Disguise Kit. 100 credits, 2 Encumbrance.
@Bellona , and I suppose the village entertainer is "Magna Opus"? (I know it's not quite right, but it's close)
Edit: I'm pretty solidly blocked creatively right now, I'll post when I can.

The actual properly declined* Latin is magnum opus (singular) and magna opera (plural).
Seeing as the family/bloodline name is Magna, I eventually decided to go with the plural form.
* "Decline" in this context referring to the grammatical term, where the form of a noun/pronoun/adjective have to correspond to the proper case, number, and gender. I used to know a lot more about this in the context of Latin (due to 4 years of high school Latin), but it's mostly gone now. "Use it or lose it!" I did, however, recognise that one of the older editions of the Ars Magica game had done it incorrectly, and that they fixed it in the following edition (either 3rd to 4th, or 4th to 5th - I can't remember which).

Ah, okay.
I've made the IC post about Barda's return with the various items.
Explaining why Barda has all this stuff ...
During character creation on the Misc thread, I got carried away while spamming crafting checks and ended up sinking a lot of credits into usable specialist tools (which add an automatic +1 Success to one type of skill checks - Mechanics in this case), without getting the desired results (enough Advantages to lighten them considerably, etc.).
Should I add a small Obligation (5 points?) to Barda's character sheet, to represent the 1,000 credit unofficial loan from Te, her mother?
Sure, shouldn't be a problem.
I'm ready for a screenwipe or narration.
By the way, I just hit 10,000 posts on the forum today. (What am I doing with my life... )
Ditto re screenwipe.
Could Barda use her Mechanics skill to get a status report pulled together?
Aleena has some knowledge of Computers if that would help.

Sienna has 4 Intellect, so she could assist those checks.
