Tales from the Fringe Anthology OOC

Question. I don't remember how this works. R1 has a 1 agility but 2 proficiency in light range weapons. What do I roll for him during attacking?

1eP+1eA. If you change the sheet it will show you.

You compare the Characteristic and the Skill. You take the highest and that's the number of Ability dice. Then you upgrade by the number of ranks in the lowest.

Copy thanks. I thought that was it. I'm travelling and not close to my books. Thanks again.

Alright, where to now? You'd mentioned wanting discussion with the client?

I believe Rook waited get more research on the client.

I think our Broker says there isn't much, right?

I believe P-47 said through Bestin the Client's whereabouts, correct?

Correct on both counts.

Ok.. busy couple days at work :)

Is there a way to the Clients location that isn't full of danger? :D

I kinda want to call a head, but that would just warn him... and we kinda kidnapped his employee... O_O

His security chief, no less. I bet he's feeling all kinds of secure right now... :D

Make an Average Skulduggery check to analyze the surroundings.

No, his home's surroundings. Looking for a way in and analyzing security.

From your research (however you did it), here's what you've gleaned:

It's a ritzy location, and not only is the building secured, but that whole section is a security zone of sorts. No unauthorized vessels entering or leaving that neighborhood, if you can call it that on a world like Coruscant. But it's a pretty large perimeter, and R0-OK doesn't think it'll be too hard to slip through if they play their cards right. Rook is too obvious though.

In the building itself, the security presence is fairly light and discreet, but the company is known for being effective. However, they only guard the floors lower down by the single entrance. Once you are above them, they aren't likely to catch wind of you unless somebody sounds the alarm or you try to break into one of the homes.

The building is shaped like a very wide, thick "U," with the client's penthouse covering the entire roof. It comes with a walled, open-topped garden, glass-covered den with an open balcony, and of course a variety of the standard sort of rooms one would expect to find in an abode, though not as transparent, for obvious reasons.

He has no family, but a girlfriend he's been going steady with for a while. The sort of thing tabloids try and make hay over. Relatively common knowledge, but important since it cuts down on... complications .

For the Threat: he's jumpy. RO-0K discovers that he's requested a couple men posted close on call in case anything untoward should happen.

Is he jumpy about us, or Crimson Dawn?

Is there information on the Girlfriend? name, family, occupation?

Not sure, but he didn't call for added security until the Elevator Escapade.

Yasmyn Arkada is a young (mid to upper twenties) actress. Decently prosperous family, but not absurdly so. Good actress, but not especially wealthy (by young, attractive actress standards).

In spite of the age gap, it seems there may be something actually there, as the tabloids debate. Young and pretty, but not that young and pretty. And he's rich, but so's she and he isn't that rich.

Anything else? I'm no society reporter.

Has there been security incidents, at or near the house or secure zone since we left with the guard?

No.

Just want to make sure your not waiting for me.

No, not exactly. Just waiting for you guys to settle on a plan and post IC. Or ask for something from me.

I suggest, I use my changing powers (super power). By changing identities and start to watch the activities at the clients home and business. Maybe We can pick some Intel.

I was thinking of some heist movies.. maybe a service vehicle and infiltrate that way?

How about you combine those courses of action...
@tank0625 , scouting out the area will take an Average Deception check.

Success/Advantage will assist attempts to sneak in, while Failure/Threat (or not attempting) will harm attempts to sneak in.

@RuusMarev , selecting a suitable vehicle and then acquiring it will take an Average Skulduggery (hijack/theft) or Average Streetwise (purchasing assistance from the underworld). Both are upgraded once, but the latter costs 1,000 credits.

Sounds good to me.

Here is my roll.
