@ovinomanc3r can I quote intel here?
Too Many Bothans... [Mafia]

That train was separate from game for me as well in a sense, LAL was in full play as his claim of intel really sent the game spiralling for hours, would repeat that lynch.

Again.
It's getting really, really old.
This is very harsh as well, on my word at least I wouldn't do this to anyone as scum unless they were OP like a SK etc
Just to be crystal clear, OVI said the message about being a scum traitor was not from the MOD and WAS INTEL.
Hence I think town is being played with.

No.

@EbonHawk appears to have set a new record for multiple sequential posts within a short time frame...
Anyway...I'm not sure what to think about our Intel. It's seems like there must be a reason for its existence, although it hasn't helped us yet. On the other hand, it seems that scum have no NK. So Intel surely can't be that trustworthy, otherwise how do you give cop/tracker/etc. results to EVERY town member with no downside? There must be a downside besides the fact that scum can lie.
So despite receiving Intel that tells me Ebon is not town, I'm kinda leaning towards "Ebon is town and Caldias is not." I'm not sure I trust GNIP either.
If there is a recruiting mechanic, I think Ebon is more likely to be a recruit than Biggs though.

held previously by me I think
##vote @Caldias
If someone can persuade me to switch to Ebon, please do so. Right now I'm not seeing what the argument against him is--most of what could be said against him seems like it could be said against me or Pod. Caldias, meanwhile, has been standing out as shady since the end of D1.
This game is really, really frustrating me. Maybe if I went into it expecting to have no night action and was just acting as a true vanilla I'd be doing a better job here but having NOTHING at all to go off of except what everyone else is telling me when I should have had SOMETHING over the last 3 nights is tilting me bad.
So, gone and looked at the votes, because while everything else can be a lie, votes don't lie.
This is what is selling me on Caldias.
5 to lynch, Caldias gets 4. If he's town, he all he needs is one scum dropping onto him. If he's scum, then there's nothing but town on him and his scum buddy isn't hopping on.

Biggs,Mad, Bertie, Forty, Mad, PodTime is over. It seems there are no executions today, but I will check it again.
Here's the play: We lynch Caldias today. If he's town, we can suspect scum on his Day 2 bandwagon. If he's scum, we know the remaining scum were off the day 2 vote.

Either way that gives us a plan for the endgame.

Just curious what your rationale is here. We still have this to go off of:
Day 1 Lynch result:
@Matt3412 - (5) - Forty, Pod, Biggs, Bertie, Ghost
We know one of these people is scum based on the intel I got, and Pod is dead. I am super leaning into lynching Bertie cause he drove the Pod train with false intel. Sure, maybe he was infiltrated, but he's kinda been on my radar anyway. The only thing I am pretty sure on is Mads is town. My intel and Forty's verfies that pretty well. If both of those intels were infiltrated then maybe we're just boned.
My inclination is to kill bertie based on his fast train on Pod, but I could also vote Ebon. Don't want to put him at L1 just yet though since scum could just jump on it. The fact that scum didn't just bus him yet though is a bit troubling.
Thoughts across the game;
I wonder if its not a recruitment, and just an arsonist and a roleblocker. Or if scum has to hack our intel to get us to kill ourselves.
Biggs claims he has been blocked three times, and I cant for the life of me figure out why they’d just block one person. We all have abilities, why stick hard on one person?
If the intel being infiltrated isnt a recruitment mechanic, and its just them feeding the player false info, it may be fruitless to kill ebon. It may also be worth it just to check.
Ideally tho, we want to kill the visitor, not the visited.
So, if Forty's intel is to be trusted and I trust Mads, then I think I'm comfortable to do this:

Bertie is definitely up there though, and if Ebon flips scum I think bertie is where we look next

happy to take it as I'm confused as **** myself, but as Ovi was certain with me it was Intel, and after Cals intel blunder clearing Gnips and Mad (bertie cleared by my intel saying kill him, and forty is passed) cal is only one left

If Ebon flips town?
Why would scum send me intel telling me to kill Bertie, if Bertie is scum? of course if i do roll scum then I can see why, But I don't think I will. I will flop town like pod i reckon.

I think he means if we lynch you and you flip scum, then we should consider hanging me next, because it looks like I'm trying to protect you right now.
Just now, Bertie Wooster said:I think he means if we lynch you and you flip scum, then we should consider hanging me next, because it looks like I'm trying to protect you right now.
I know, but what's his plan if I'm town?
Forty looks town, he's cleared Mad/GNips already? does he still go after you?
even though as a dead town they would know I got false intel telling me to kill you as well... Cal has slipped up hard
The main reason I trust you Ebon is what you're saying makes a lot of sense to me. Following Intel seems like a bad idea at this point in the game, so it makes sense to me that you'd get a piece of Intel telling you to kill me.
If there are two scum, there could be up to two fake pieces of Intel being shared per round. (I say "up to" because Biggs and GNIP have not shared any Intel). Add in the idea that scum could be infesting/infiltrating one player per round, and that's three more. Now, it's possible that Pod was infested. But still...up to 4 bad pieces of Intel... and only 5 living players have shared Intel.
By that logic, I think I distrust my Intel that tells me that Ebon is not town (chances are likely that I've been infested), and everyone else should too (there can't be many players left with good intel).
