##vote Ebon

Let's just end this.

Hammer.

I don't think EbonHawk's vote counts; he deliberately misspelled his username.

Wouldn't that be a sign that he is lying? He claimed he was fine with his death, voted himself (to show his towniness), but deliberately sabotaged that vote. That seems pretty scummy to me.

I don't know WHY he did it, I just wouldn't count it as hammer if I was a mod. (However, I also tend to include a disclaimer with a reminder about spelling.) If I was @EbonHawk and I wanted that vote to count, I would unvote and revote.

Personally, I think Ebon is a traitor and he joins scum (which is probably you and Biggs) when he's lynched. I don't know how that makes sense given the intel we've had, but... that's my gut feeling.

I dont think self voting is necessarily allowed anyway.

Which makes it even worse, 'cause now people are complacent and we'll end up with a no lynch.

Agreed. This is super sketchy.

@Bertie Wooster why haven't you switched your vote to Ebon then?

If my theory is correct, Ebon joins scum and there's no way for town to win.

Ebon has been hinting (to scum) that he's a traitor, and he obviously wants us to kill him, which suggests to me that it's bad for town if we do.

Biggs also quoted a moderator PM (or pretended to) after ovi warned us not to do that, which, if it isn't worth a mod kill, it's at least worth my vote.

I am not convinced that a traitor would join scum if voted. That hasn't happened in any previous game.

That hasn't happened, but we've been told in a previous game that's what would happen if a traitor was lynched. Ebon was modding the game and ovi was the traitor.

I think Bertie is right about how traitors work

Ok, guys, sorry for the delay.

To me looks like Ebon intended to vote himself and I didn’t forbid it so it will count.

That means hammer.

Ebon is dead, he was a Rebel Analyst, he was town.

Night begins now so stop posting. Sorry for the mess.

Damnit now I don’t know how to interpret last nights information.

My information is unambiguous, no interpretation necessary. It's only a question of whether I believe it or not.

Is it possible for scum to flip town when they die? Is that a game mechanic that anyone has encountered?

Ok so I'm starting to think we can't trust intel at all. Like Bertie, my intel was clear as day and named someone as scum. It doesn't match what I would expect though.

Crazy idea - what if there are no scum and we're all town?

What if the win condition is something similar to "stop killing each other you idiots"?

Read your original PM from ovi...if it's the same as mine, it spells out your win condition.

I have encountered such a mechanic before. I don't remember it's name, but I do know it exists.

Oh that would be super annoying

I also had that thought but as bertie pointed out, the win condition is pretty specific.

The reason I asked is because I previously had Intel that said Ebon isn't town. It was all caps intel. But Ebon flipped town when he died. So either the Intel lied or there's a weird game mechanic that allows scum to flip town when they die. (Like Forty, I'm inclined to distrust Intel at this point.)

Of course, my last two pieces of Intel were not in all caps, and definitely sound as if they are messages written by someone who is anti-town.

I was leaning towards Biggs yesterday, and I'm still leaning towards Biggs today. Like Madaghmire, I'm suspecting his roleblocked thing is just a ruse. And Caldias suspected him. And it wouldn't surprise me if last night's message was written by Biggs himself--it seems like the kind of devious thing he would do. This is the guy who came up with third-party TimeCop, after all.

Last nights intel literally told me I was right. In funny darth vader death scene quote...I was right.

Which is actually super concerning if we’re still alive.
