I vote Pod because he's acting sketchy and it won't hammer him (unless I'm really sure, I don't like hammering on turn 1). But then here comes the possible scum buddy, CV, who votes me.
Let's just put a pin in this and revisit in a few turns.

As the day begins, the lot of you sit around the breakfast table sipping blue milk. It dawns on you that someone is missing. After checking the room thoroughly, @ovinomanc3r is nowhere to be found. As you're all trained assassins, you know what that means. Someone checks the bathroom (read: breaks down the door) and find he's slumped dead over the sink, shot in the eye. Someone shot him through the plumbing.
@ovinomanc3r is dead. He was a vanilla town.

GNIPs decides not to complete the train on Pod, which results in a no lynch.
Train on Pod immediately disintegrates, people scatter their votes rather than lining them up on a target. Not sure whether that's scum, bad townplay or both.
I currently have a desire to ##vote @GhostofNobodyInParticular . Not only did a counter train fail to fully materialize on him, but we clearly concluded last game you can't do this cr*p and say you're helping town. It's just about the worst possible D1 outcome.

I don't like lynching potential power roles day 1. That is why I didn't hammer pod at first. I then got distracted and lost track of time, thereby missing the end of day and my chance to vote.
It's a bummer about ovi, I trusted him.

That's the problem, though. It's a closed setup. Everyone is a potential power role, especially when it's not a common claim like cop or doc. And it's Pod.
If it was your reasoning, it's still poor and policy lynch material for me.

Perhaps. But I wasn't in the mood to take the chance with 5 hours left to discuss it. I planned to come back when there was about an hour left to see if there had been any developments and, if not, to vote pod.
