Beyond bosting that he could take on a whole ship (which only a small part of Den doubted this to be anything but fact), he did not in fact have an actual plan. The question from the inquisitor stopped him dead, his expression frozen in one of shock behind his helmet. Still, rather than admit the truth he decides to think on his feet. "Oh, alright, I do have a plan, and it's a good one. What is, alright, how about this. We send a few of us up to the ship, I think me, and the sergeant major as bodyguards, and O-, I mean agent Ostell as our 'negotiator'. See if you turn up, they're going to be on edge, but if it's just us three, they'll feel confident they've got us. I can get myself in some trouble and get thrown in with the other prisoners, while the others get to whoever's running this whole thing. That means we'll have eyes on both objectives. Now the rest of you can hang back, maybe on a shuttle or something, just out of range of their scanners. That way they don't know we've got reinforcements coming. If we can get some trackers and void suits, maybe fusion cutters, you could drop in right on top of us to secure the objectives without running all over the ship. They must have that kind of stuff around here somewhere. I reckon with this lot we stand a half decent chance with this".

Upon hearing the Stormtrooper's plan Briar said "That could work if we take the Twi'lek then they'll have something, but not the thing they want most, which still gives us something to bargain with. Then we can stall until everyone is in position."
Den would nod excitedly, glad to see someone else had joined in on the plan. "Exactly. We get one of us thrown in with the prisoners, the others with the traitors, maybe one sneaks away if possible to disrupt, and then the others drop in nice and smooth".
The inquisitor turns on his communicator as the agent and stormtrooper start to discuss the idea making sure everyone could hear it no matter where they were. “Agent, Stormtrooper, get the Twilek and prepare for the first part of our plan.” He looks to Hale, “You will go with them, I will lead the rest of us in with the boarding party once you three...” He points back to Luks and Briar. “My Pilot, You are with me in the second group, but I want you in the fighter, if we need to disable the ship.” He says as he thinks of something that may have been overlooked. ”I will not be having them hyperspace to safety when the battle turns on them.”
Hale salutes in a manner passable as crisp, Yessir! Mind if I bring along the big guns?
"That's good. I can set up right by their engines and take em out quickly."
The task force swiftly readies to enact its plan, and the two teams soon take off in their respective ships. As the Phantom surreptitiously rises into the upper atmosphere, its passive sensors pick up the IPD Intrepid and its immediate environs. A single light cruiser lurks beneath it, with a patrol fighter flanking on either side, and a shuttle positioned out in front; certainly not the bulk of the Veiled Sorority’s fleet.
Venlana’s confident azure visage again graces the holocomms. “Good. I appreciate your prompt response. Be advised that half the Intrepid’s complement has been evacuated to its shuttle, as a precaution. I’m afraid the TIEs proved rather fragile, but otherwise the officers and crew remain intact. I need to see my lieutenant and the girl before I permit you to approach any closer. And I would caution you against any displays of imperial valor, that we might all live to deal another day.”
Briar nudged the Twi'lek into view of the holocam, "There you go," she said "the girl is currently resting after quite a long day, and I would rather not disturb her. However, currently we only have your word that the crew of the Intrepid is alive, show us that their alive then we can continue with this deal." Briar said the last word with as much disgust as she could muster to try and sell that they were going to go through with the trade.
“Mendacious actors are ubiquitous in the circles we operate in, adjustments are necessary at times... Your service record indicates you are polyglottal, Agent Ostell. Do you speak Pantoran, by chance?”
Briar recognizes the three code words, and understands what is actually being conveyed here. Venlana Sipal is not COMPNOR, or she would be aware... but could she be an operative for a rival intelligence organization?! An asset? Or maybe she just somehow obtained the emergency recognition codes? Hmm.. ubiquitous.. operate.. adjustments..
Ubiqtorate, an operator? Adjustments division..? That branch was certainly given a great deal of latitude in its actions, but still! Taking a capital ship in an act of piracy would be enough to take away any protections she might otherwise enjoy, regardless of her affiliations.
Porel Vakra’s expression when he sees his former boss is even more difficult to decipher. Conflicted? “So is my mother here somewhere? I’m not going with her.” No one is quite sure just where the girl came from, or how she snuck on board, but there she was.
Hale is startled at the voice, but maintains his presence of mind and tries to shift surreptitiously to keep the girl out of view of the camera.
“Thank you for the confirmation.” Venlana turns to one of her crew off-holo. “Bring the captain.”
“Yes, Baroness.” A few moments later, her crimson guard steps into view, steering Captain Hagstrsom by the arm. The CO is in binders, but otherwise appears unharmed.
”The ship was boarded by artifice. It is intact, its officers and crew as well, to my knowledge. The TIEs...”
”That’s enough.” Venlana interjects, and the captain is quickly guided away. “The XO and half the crew are on the shuttle out in front, sitting pretty in our forward sights. That is where we will make the exchange. Once our transaction is complete, if all goes swimmingly, I will relinquish control of the Intrepid back to you. I have no desire to be burdened by traipsing about in an Imperial Destroyer. Who knows... with a little luck, perhaps your empire will not even hear of this lapse?”
"I do speak Pantoran," Briar replied to the question "but, at the moment I am more curious as to why you will not be turning over the ship at the same time we give you what you want? It seems like it would be quite easy on your part to blow us to pieces once we are on the shuttle, and you have what you want. Could we not make the trade aboard the Intrepid?" Briar paused hoping to get some insight from Sipal's reaction.
“A reasonable request, and one which I can accommodate. You may bring your shuttle around to the starboard landing bay entrance. Do mind my yacht- I just had the hull coated.” Venlana considers a moment. “You may exit your shuttle with two guards, to turn over Porel and the child. I know you find this business... distasteful. But I would urge restraint in your actions. This will soon be over, and I look forward to repairing this rift between our organizations, to our mutual benefit.”
Below, Lieutenant Ral Somar has slipped up to the Intrepid undetected, and mated his prototype’s flexible boarding tube to an access hatch. The small team enters the aft bay, where a single troop transport is secured. Various crates and barrels line the bulkheads to either side, leaving ramp access open to the rear. Blast doors bar the infiltrators from seeing forward into the main hangar.

"All right people, let's do this. "
Drogos enters the aft bay shortly after Somar, he takes a look of surroundings noticing nothing out of the ordinary. Until he feels a presence with his force senses. "We are not alone, I sense someone nearby. On your Guard." He says to Evon and Somar.
,,I hear something!" Evon states, then goes on to look for the source. He is on track, closing to the bay walls when he manages to trip over a bunch of burnt fuelcell-rods while listening. The cells fall over with a loud, metallic bang. ,,Blast it!"
Whatever the source of the muffled noises in the aft bay, Evon’s disturbance brings the more readily identifiable sounds of voices and footfalls, approaching from the main hangar forward of their location. The team has only a few moments to react before the doors swish open to reveal two Weequay guards brandishing heavy riot blasters.
“Knock-it-off-in-there, ‘fore we jes slide y’on out th’back!” One of the pirates appears to be addressing the transport occupying the center of the chamber, as he enters the aft bay.

@Shlambate @bsmith23 @Rimsen . The hangar guards heard the clatter in the aft bay, and are investigating, but give away their approach. There is time for 1 maneuver prior to the door opening. Cover is available behind the transport or crates along the bulkhead).Drogos rushes to the doorframe trying to hide himself from the oncoming pirates as to Hopefully surprise them and deal with them quickly.
As soon as the door opened he ignited his Double bladed lightsaber and turned on its spin. The Weequay instead of dying like the Fourth Brother wanted managed to escape death by decapitation by being quick to react to surprise lightsabers. However the spinning deathblades and the fact that Drogos never really turned off his aura of fear that they were more focused on surviving than calling in for backup.
The Weequays (thankfully, Somar thinks) move away from the Inquisitor, providing him with an open shot. "Hello, boyos!" The force of the blaster bolt causes his target to drop his weapon and the second pirate to reel in confusion.
“What th...” The two Weequay guards were obviously not expecting the furious onslaught that awaited them through the hangar door. The one still holding his riot blaster fires from the hip, sending the powerful blue blast wide, dissipating before it reaches the bulkhead. The sentry who had been disarmed turns tail, and flees back toward the door by which he had just entered.

Edited by bsmith23,,I'm on it Lieutenant!" Evon rushes forward, and aims his blaster to the door control. He cries out loud: ,,You don't go anywhere!" And he releases energy bolts towards the control, but they harmlessly sparkles on the durasteel walls.
"Blast it!" Somar thinks to himself as he takes aim again. "Let's hope Redblade can finish this before the whole ship knows we're here."
The distinctive sounds of combat outside the transport are faint, but the men imprisoned within redouble their efforts to make their presence known.
”Heeeyyy!!! We’re in heeerrrre!!!”
Ral hears the muffled voices more clearly now, and they are coming from the troop transport in the center of the bay.
"I hear them! They're in the transport." As soon as he's sure it's clear, he makes his way to the craft to help free the prisoners.
