We will not enter R.

Much appreciated!
(I hope someone names it "Paris" so that when it gets bombarded I can make Casablanca jokes.)

Beside this, however, the last transmission of our doomed survey vessel confirmed reports of our deceased ground forces, and we have come to the conclusion that G1 is in fact our ancestral GNIPia, long though lost to the mists of time and space.
We apologize for the loss of you fleet - we did recommend you leave. We do not want a conflict with the wookies, we simply want what is ours. I imagine the GF currently on the ground are now yours? If you surrender them we will provide you with them and an extra one as compensation for your troubles.
CP9-J: Official Response: We advise that you cease your efforts to claim G1, and instead focus on G2. We have taken the liberty of clearing it of hostiles, and will cede it to you upon cessation of hostilities. It is not advisable that you continue your blockade.

We will be going to war shortly and hope you will join us.
Battle Plans are below, encoded in Horse:
Turn 7 hyperpings: C1, dsC, D1, E, F1, G1, J, L2, Q, T1, T2, T3 and V.
Wow. A lot just happened.
A CIS remnant fleet has launched an assault on C1, and engages League of Evil forces. 268 A vs 108 D is a 40% CIS advantage, or -4.
A 6 is rolled and turned into a 2. The CIS takes no casualties; 1 League of Evil Quasar Fire-1 is destroyed, and another is scarred. Bad Horse's forces are obliged to retreat, and C1 is invaded successfully with no CIS casualties.
A URASC fleet has blockaded D1 and successfully invaded it, losing 4 GF.
A Proprietary Limited fleet has blockaded L2. No invasion or bombardment takes place.
Turn 8 is now live. Orders are due in 48 hours.
Orders not yet received from:

Proprietary Limited commends the CIS remnant. Evil may be a growth industry, but is not profitable long term.
We also insist that our blockade of L2 (Lkapitan) is perfectly legal and will be maintained until our conditions are met.
Our exploratory Force has discovered interesting relics on Q (Quantadox) and are curious to know if others have found similar artefacts around the Paellos sector - specifically those relating to an ancient language of original inhabitants?
"Observation: I am awesome."

@FortyInRed let us deal with your problem at C1, if you so wish.

We found something interesting after we courteously invaded a pirate hideout, but we don't think it's what you're looking for.

Thank you for your understanding.

I found this code: JEOVMDUGITBOED. Has anyone found something similar?

I shall take your word and move on to G2.
I saw this late - I am not sure if an order to bombard was cancelled as I instructed, if it isn't you have my apologies.

The order was cancelled.

That would be most appreciated. Thank you.
In exchange for reclaiming C1 and returning it to us, we will permit you to use that planet's production value for one turn and will also cede rights of C2 over to you. Is that acceptable?

We haven't, but it seems reasonable that there may be more information on planet Paellos, since it is close by. Assuming that the legends are true, and it truly does exist.
@BiggsIRL and @idjmv the Bad Horse is most displeased with the actions over Clydesdale the Greater. He had grand plans for the shipyards there which are now at risk. The workers, who were safely evacuated, are now rather nervous as project deadlines have not been extended, despite the temporary loss of the shipyards. They don't call him "the Nice Horse" or "the Understanding Horse", after all.
We, his loyal minions, are trying to identify the home base of the loathsome "remnant" so that we may destroy them and remain in his good graces. We will be counterattacking shortly. Please state your territorial claims so that we avoid collateral damage.

This works for us.

Our exploratory force has confirmed there is no planet Paellos - the system consists of a ancient Star with no planets. If there were planets here they were consumed by the expanding star Millenia ago.

The irony here is comic. Corporate lawyers are the epitome of evil. Own it.

C9P-J: We encountered these folks at B1 and B2 on Turn 1. Also, your buddies @idjmv seem to have... invaded one of our planets.
The "D" planets are under Wookie control... or at least were.
CP9-J: Hopefully we've smoothed over the unseemliness by now. My associates have an idea for our mutual benefit: We will form a formal alliance between our two factions. You will hold G2, which we will surrender to you this turn, while we will hold G1. In addition, we will provide for one another support in the event we are attacked. You are not asked to intervene in the current conflict in the D system, as it was started before this agreement is concluded (and is a bit out of your range). We will also provide you with the product of G1 once every 4 turns, starting this turn (assuming we can).
We can then expand together! Looking at the map, if our mutual border is secure, you can expand downward from I, while we head to J. This would create a large area where we would not have to worry.
Archaeologists are historians after all, and not having allies or fighting a 2 front war has not worked well in the past for most people.
Edit: Regardless, stop the blockade, get a free ship!

I accept the above agreement. I have already sent my forces to G2 with orders to invade (I was unaware that it was yours). I shall issues orders not to attack you, you must do likewise.
@idjmv also, the Bad Horse hopes this is clear, but in case it's not, he's not planning to attack you this turn, or any turn for that matter. You're may see a bunch of pings in our territory - that is making sure our house is in order before a major assault. He's not planning anything against you.
He has authorized me to offer to extend our alliance for another 5 turns (turns 9 through 13) if that would please you.

Greetings, Malarian Brood Swarms!
Your blockade of Neetheen, while perfectly legal, is not desirable. Please remove your forces.
Merry Crew - presumably you have unleashed this market disruption upon us by discovering a path to A1 and attacking these creatures. You will be held liable for any losses suffered by Proprietary Limited as a result of your actions.
