Assuming DT actually gets to design the card. When RuneWars shut down they had to make concessions to the player they owed a card to still, saying they would figure out what to do for his prize instead.

Definitely no reason to believe they can't shut it down before a card is released, unfortunately.

Yeah, when the Star Wars LCG ended they released the backlog of champ cards and handed them out to those attending Worlds/NA champs, and later made them available as a PDF for everyone else to print out if they wanted them.
