Politics can be Deadly (Mafia)

and I’m still not sure a no-vote isnt the best choice.

My argument for it would be

allow both sides to gain allies which thus opens up traditional mafia blocks allowing for a more involved D2, may also allude to 3rd party or balance roles

I’m sticking with my loyalty to delay. These Article 50 negotiations with the Seperatists are just taking too much time. We don’t have a good Deal on the table yet. Delay is logical.

I commend a Vote NoVote to the House.

To me is easy. This is normal mafia. I am town. Those who are not town are mafia. I won't stop lynching mafia just because they are all traitors . Dude, the chances of hitting scum are even better.

to vote no vote is as scummy as always

No vote count in 24 hours? Can we expel the moderator?

Apoligies haha, weekends are busy time for me :P

hmm, cant get a proper countdown timer.... anyway 20 hours left

I mean, the moderator himself suggested the no-vote. Is he scum?

A HOUSE DIVIDED CAN NOT STAND.

Also I feel like the the third party [it has to be the chancellor] is going to just be murdering everyone

Maybe...

Only when it’s @EbonHawk or @PodRacer when they apply their ModGod powers to ensuring my D1 or N1 death every fragging time! ;)

So here's why I think no vote is the way to go.

In a normal game, some players have information other players don't. Which means a lynch on day one tells us some things about who might be scum based on how they voted or didn't vote, because we know scum knows the alignment of everyone.

There MAY be roles that have pre-knowledge, but I don't know that for certain. We also don't know if there is a 3rd party for sure So, it's likely no other players are privy to knowledge the others aren't and are all flailing in the dark. In that case, a no vote would at least let us probe each other and find some things out.

And only one of us die

if people are on board I've expressed my intent to do this previous, think it's our best bet for D2 (i.e having info and a way forward)

off to bed now

What exactly do we find out though? Scans by some of us, no doubt to be kept private? People killing without knowing the allegiance of their target are doing the same thing as we would be making a vote, but it wouldn't set the start of a track record for each of us. Assuming they choose to kill. I honestly don't see how a round of night actions benefits us, just certain members among us.

I don't like it.

I like lynching randomly even less though.

There is no benefit in a track record if it's all random.

Not initially. But at least we get to know who caused the death (and if there are "knowledge abilities" that potentially matters), and if there is an ability that allows a response of some sort, we may get to see it in action. Generally I believe the less done in the dark the better when we're trying to orient ourselves.

And if we kill a Vengeful or the like, we'll get to know.

I do not wish our people to suffer due to a lockdown over the necessity of the wall. So in view of parlance, I offer the house of Matt an opportunity to align our flags. I suggest we expel Ebonhawk together in exchange for serious consideration of including budget for the wall at the next recess.

Do I hear an Aye? @The Jabbawookie @PodRacer

Oh its @GhostofNobodyInParticular who is my running mate and not Pod. My bad.

Well, he is the moderator. His goal is not mine so he definitely has his own reasons. It is just obviously they have nothing in common with mine as moderator is neither my role nor my alignment.

Just to see fancy roles working is something that doesn't help me or my party.
