Sorry, was in a lunch meeting and just came back to my desk to a ton of messages. Took me a minute to get through everything. Paul's death didn't bring a single person to mind for me. He's a very good and active player, and is good at figuring things out in general, so I'd guess that's why he was killed? He didn't do anything, in my read of day one, that particularly suggested a power role. So I'd say that at least one of the scum comes from the WhatsApp group, which I know is an extremely unhelpful conclusion given that we're looking at 3-4 mafia likely this game.

Newbies: Scumarine = Scum who don't post much to hide under the radar (like a submarine but scum)
Also, I'll restate my case against @markferguson and I'm sticking with him for now. He's by far the most DTL player from the WhatsApp game, and he didn't vote for anyone on day one. And he's usually quite active, but has been very quiet on day 2. This could be his stated troubles with this platform, but I would like to at least hear from him.

yes that makes sense I thought as such, shame we lost him..

There are several WhatsApp players who have been much quieter than usual in addition to Mark F. Cary tends to post in bursts and not during the work day, so right now this is not unusual, but bears watching. Adam has been particularly quiet, as has Jessica MC (train) and Stefan. This is Jessica C's first real game, so I don't have a read on her.

(Caveat up front - heading to a doctors appointment after this so will be off for several hours)
I've now tried to read through all profiles and assess level of effort / participation / oddity of play or not.
By my count, the top quiet players are:
@CaryHaneyDC , @Wenchiman , @Traingirl1 , @Madaghmire , @markferguson -- all in the 3-4 posts range and most of that was role confirm.
...seems odd for cary, wenchiman(adam), and markf based on Whatsapp Mafia play. Very odd. And 2 days of activity (given length of d2 is enough time to opt in...)
Following this is a second group of folks:
@JessicaChase , @thecallum, @stefan... (not sure why the names aren't linking) - all in the 7-8 posts range.
- my substantive worries stem from their responses, which I'll quote and then ask for information on...as in, there are specific steps some of these people have taken that smell "odd"
Everyone else has been active, or responsive, or made moves to help town on some level. Still reason for keeping an eye, and there were a few questions I had that I'll raise 3rd.
But for now, I'm most worried about the first tier...having been taught by @lordpreyer that quiet people are either unhelpful to town, or scummy (scumarining?)...
Apologies if I miscounted to the above, as my profile scanning took a bit and I may have missed one or two.
