@Tramp Graphics you can use the triumph to help the others out in the snow.
@Jonas Shaaf , the roll was for knowledge of the arctic region you're heading into. I figured the boost you'd generated could be used to help spot something that may identify the entrance to the hideout when it comes to it.
@EliasWindrider , if anything the alcohol improves Chemadt's spirit and reactions, he can have a boost on his next check.
Elias would be able to sense the Reesh is in the same direction and roughly the same distance away as the republic base.
When the people on Drall are ready you can narrate heading towards the stables Kark mentioned or go looking for gear.
@SithArissa I just need your response to Reesh pointing the direction to the base.

Korath does own a wilderness survival kit (F&D CRB page 188) which does include a thermal cloak (subtract two Setbacks from checks to handle extreme heat or cold), but that won’t help his feet. Moccasins aren’t exactly waterproof . The AoR CRB has Adverse Environment gear for 500 credits, which removes one Setback from checks to handle the effects of whatever environment a particular set of gear is designed for, along with granting 1 Soak. I recommend we each buy one set, and, anyone who doesn’t have one, that they each pick up a Wilderness Survival Kit of their own, or, at the very least, a Thermal Cloak. Korath can take care of Avalon’s. (No stealing @Stormbourne ).
Btw, @Rabobankrider , did I miss your post with Tino landing on Gorse? I completrly forgot about him XD
I'll try to get to posts sorted tomorrow, Friday at latest. Sorry for the delay.
@player3333902 , honestly I completely forgot. If you want to narrate Tino coming out of hyperspace, they can do an average computer or hard perception to locate the base they were sent to find and 'salvage'.

I only steal food and shards

No stealing any more of that either. 😝

my snow ball begs to differ
snow ball to the face
:
2eA+2eD
2 failures
well it differes more in my head and that's the important part
also for the snow ball fight in general
snow ball fight
:
2eA
3 successes
Looking not for the bounty hunters but for their ship. So we can ambush the hunters.
Seek for bounty hunters' ship
:
4eF
3 Light Side, 2 Dark Side
@EliasWindrider , you'd find the ship at a similar direction and distance to the bounty hunters you used seek on earlier.
@SithArissa , can you please do an average coordination to jump down into the building. If you can think of a use for the triumph I got you can use it.
Coordination
:
2eP+1eA+2eD
2 successes, 1 threat
I think the triumph could be we spot some advantageous position that we can take for our "ambush"
Good thinking, yeah. I'll keep that for when we set the ambush up.

That was intended to be more of navigation directly to it when we get close.
Ah ok, well it's outside the base then.
The cloaks and stuff will reduce 2 setback dice due to arctic weather, add 1 to encumbrance but no soak (they're just heavy furs so no real protection). Because it's not 'proper' hold weather gear they're a little cheaper.

I’m not concerned about the costs. Like I said, Korath already has an All temperature cloak in his Wilderness Survival Kit, and that does the same thing. That won’t do anything to protect his feet and hands from frostbite, however, particularly his feet . Not even the standard, “riding boots” that are typically worn in Star Wars are really suited for arctic conditions, and they’re relatively waterproof. Thin suede moccasins aren’t even that. That’s why we need proper gear: coats, hats, snow boots , gloves. Essentially full ski gear like we see worn on Hoth . Especially myself, Avalon, Kark, and Xanth.

You're to hung up on this, its a game. The fur will keep us warm enough to pass mechanical checks.
I covered materials, setbacks and advantages in the misc. threads. If we do want to talk specifics, why does Korath only have one set of boots? Seems like bad planning. Having said that, I've covered it in the misc so that should revolve everything.
Also I don't want to mess on unnecessarily with you guys having to go to a shop, buy your gear, come back and then go on your mission. This saves time and effort, because I can't progress Gorse too far without you guys.

I'm hoping he has a second pair of pants too

Even if he did, they’d be the same type. I actually cosplay as this character, and only have one pair of this style boot for the costume. And, as I already said, Korath has an All Temperature Cloak as part of a Wilderness Survival Kit in a pack on the ship (which he will be bringing). However, while a coat or cloak will keep the core body temperature up, it won’t do squat to protect the extremities against frostbite . For that you need winter boots and gloves at the very least. Otherwise you will get frostbite on your fingers and toes.
And, at a Rarity of 1 , it’s not like Adverse Environment Gear (including Cold Weather gear) is exactly rare, so it shouldn’t be that hard to get, regardless of what material it’s made from. For the record, fur is a good form of cold weather gear, but it needs to be more than just a coat or cloak. We need winter boots and gloves as well as part of the package. If you’re worried about not having to deal with role playing a shopping trip to another store, you could have simply had it available where we are. Not only that, I never planned on role playing it out anyway, I just wanted to buy a couple of sets for Korath and Avalon, with the other two Masters each taking care of Xanth’s and Kark’s (presuming they have the funds), and move on. There’s a reason why the Alliance wore full suits of cold weather gear on Hoth, not just coats.

Does Jonas? 😝
Elias has 1 change of clothes that he brought with him.
And you're missing the point here, @Rabobankrider said he wasn't going to raise the issue (it's not a level of detail he wants to deal with) so just let it drop, move along, nothing to see here, you can go about your business.

Seeing as he's been frozen in Carbonite for decades, the answer is **** no!
@Tramp Graphics , just go with what you've been offered, at this point I'm not penalising people because they haven't got gloves etc. Or don't, no difference to me at the end of the day.
@player3333902
, if you can let
@EliasWindrider
know what Tino is going to do when he lands that'd be helpful.
