Oh, @Rabobankrider , before I forget, for a maneuver, Korath uses Defensive Stance , upgrading the captain’s next attack, and Korath also has Dodge as an out of turn incidental, upgrading his next attack again, so his next attack will be two red dice.

@Rabobankrider since you wanted a force battle I take it this guy isn't immune to force powers at all? And I would upgrade twice for social checks as well with adversary?

Don’t forget Korath just did 11 Strain to the Pirate captain after subtracting the captain’s soak. So the pirate captain should only have 1 Strain left.

@Rabobankrider , can i use iron soul to clear all my strain and then use inner peace to flip one dark pip to light pip? Not sure if i can yet, used it in the last encounter. Seems like we need ls pips dou.

with empty soul yes you can have one of direction or surroundings assuming you don't use and DS

also iron soul comes into effect when you get a chance to rest so probably not yet, and unless you've already used it you can flip two DSD to LSD and get +3 on your conflict roll as inner peace is an incidental
