I have no comment on DELL, but I would highly reccomend building your own system. It is super easy, upgradeable and a lot cheaper (Well, it was before cryptocurrency mining and DDR4 price increases), and you learn a lot (including how to fix most issues). I would atleast consider it, as opposed to a laptop (if you don't value it for it's portability).

Yeah, I think when it comes to CG modeling and animation and such, I'm gonna stick with desktops.

If I were smart, I would acquire the skills needed to build my own computer....but, I don't always pride myself on being smart.
