Saber throw cause suppression?

By HanScottFirst, in Rules

So, I think the answer is yes because the card says to choose a melee weapon and "make a ranged attack" and ranged attacks can give suppression.

Does that sound right? So if Vader rolls hits on a saber throw, he also suppresses that unit?

That is correct. Technically the RRG doesn't say suppression only comes from Ranged attacks right now, but most people are thinking they will update that. Either way Saber Throw counts as a Ranged attack and will generate Suppression.

That sounds right!

And makes sense, I mean how would you react if a rotating lasersword came flying your way :D
