Kinds of Huge

So, there are 2 kinds of Huge ships. Generically, I want to use a term that differentiates what I mean.

So, is a corvette a 2-carder? A Large Huge? A 3-pointer?

Is a GR-75 a 1-carder? A Small Huge? A 2-pointer?

Somebody got something better to differentiate these 2 "classes"???

As I read it corvettes are 2 cards

Supports are one card

Easy peasy

(Even a cheap gozanti/croc gunship I would simply consider fire support but support none the less

Agreed. I've always said "Corvette" and "Transport"

That does also work...

With our current options they're transporting supplies, fighters, or drugs so I wouldn't be confused by that either

Corvettes and transports work for me.

or corvettes and support. None of the smaller huge ships are gunships, but are taken along for other abilities. Corvettes are brought to dish out a lot if attack

Corvette and Transport is good.

Better hope the next Epic is not the Action IV. . . ^_^

I mean I hope it cause wild karrde and MJz95 but yeah it would ruin our naming convention

Frigate, Cruiser and Destroyer could be something for the future ;)

Sadly those terms may be more geared towards Armada

I would like to see them in Epic x-wing play but I just dont see the scale there. It looks like Epic will be limited to "corvette" and 'transport" and if you want the larger class of ships yoou'll have to take up Armada :(

You do realize the Nebulon frigate would be as long as the standard 3x3 board, right?

I was actually wondering if anyone played a game of Armada that when fighter squadrons engaged one another it got played out using X-Wing.

Not on FFG’s Epic ship sliding scale. On the sliding scale, it’s 19-1/2 inches:

It’s a 3D print I bought from a Russian guy on eBay and had commission painted by Luke at Exploding Car Repaints.

Once upon a time I was playing with a group that wanted to go all out and try and build an epic story campagin using x-wing, armda, and Imperial Assult.

This never got around to being launched though.

After having played a lot of epic matches (3rd year for the league right now), I have come to classify huge by types and weaponry / function. A cannon Raider and a harpoon Raider can be vastly different. Sometimes the amount of points that have been sunk in the huge also plays a critical role.
