My game group and I just recently started Decent, and we are all curious as to what the point is for heroes winning the first encounter in certain quests.. more specifically, Rellegar's rest. There is no advantage or disadvantage to winning or losing, so why split it up?

I'm not certain why you decided to post this in the Road to Legend subforum, but in many quests there are distinct consequences in encounter 2 for the outcome of encounter 1. I don't have my quest guide with me at the moment, so I can't speak directly about Rellegar's rest.
