I think you're saying, "Rebel A-wings cost too much, look at the Resistance A's." True that is my friend. And man, is L'ulo just magnificent; she's probably going to get quite a bump up, and the others a bump up too (the rear arc with the boost and that dial is just sick at that price, they just don't really pay for their increased duty cycle). When that little adjustment is made, your Rebel A's will look far better.

I think that's easy to see when compared with the RZ2 why they aren't really priced fairly. It took a limited rotating turret for just a couple of points to make A-wings competitive (I think we'll see the RZ2s get a bump, but they'll still likely be good filler). That said, I think you're right that one other thing that they are missing is something that becomes a force multiplier, like Howlrunner. Leia for two points has basically enabled the entire rebel arsenal to be playable except A-Wings because they already have good options for losing stress.

The beauty of hyperspace is there may be some sort of role A-wings can fill in rebels since Zeds are absent.

RZ2s are pretty much what 2-dice ships need to be competitive at that price point. Notice even the 5A list is just good, not crushing or OP. I dont really think resistance As need a bump in price except for Lulo.

Rebel As probably merit a drop in price (except probably Jake). They're almost as much as RZ2s, but are away worse.

Well, the 5As are currently overrepresented in cuts vs. how many show up. That alone isn't super meaningful, but it should raise some eyebrows that maybe they're a little above the power curve.

The answer in hyperspace is 0. Also, number played is 0 (with a small handful of tournaments missing, and 27% of lists for tournaments entered missing)

as a general rule of thumb, if I can take it and do well, it's probably too good.

Black Squad Scout is so terrible. It makes me sad. Planetary Sentinal is playable, if unspectacular. But 4 points for an initiative bump and empty EPT slot is insane.

Reminds me of the VT-19. Base cost is fine, but everyone else seems really out of line.

black squadron generics are showing up at the same rate as:
resistance sympathizers and zeta squadron pilots (i.e. never shown up)

Arguably, there's a lot of generics that are worse off by the virtue of having been played and been unable to make the cut.

L'ulo is also brought the most, and (no stats to back this up but) probably the most likely to be fit into a 'bad' list. Zari's status as second best suggests there's a lot to be said about 5 A's being good and L'ulo being brought down by worse lists.
