That's only half the nightmare....potentially infinite Rebel Captive when equipped to Dooku or Maul with Hate. Oddly Chancellor Palp side seems to make more sense in Separatist while Darth Sidious makes more sense in Republic.

The best Reps can do for starters is probably Sinker+Palp with BMeditation Jedi Aces (unless I forgot a higher initiative ARC).

Palp + Maul looks freaky.

Try Sinker w/ Palp(Sidious), Anakin w/ R4 and Saesee Tinn. Maybe 200 pt Anakin?

Palp mode is when he was captive on the CIS ship and Obiwan/Anakin had to infiltrate it, Sidious mode is when he starts telling Anakin to Dew It. Muh theme?

Even more thematic: a fully revealed Darth Sidious and some clone support paired with Anakin Skywalker is very powerful (but at that point, does he pronounce him "Lord Vader"?).

Deal, but we get Vader in a defender for all the points

Wampa and a 6pt bid. You got a deal.

200 point Anakin will be when those naboo royal bodyguards come out.

The Poe was the friends you made along the way... to losing the bet.

Hearing Travis say that Duchess would be more fairly costed at 40 has me triggered holy ****.

If Duchess is fair at 40 and Countdown/Pure are fair at 44, what is fair for a Sentinel? A Scout?

I mean, you know I don't think 5striker +1 is too unfair, but I'm not FFG.

I'm pretty sure 40-point t65s are fine, but I dont get to make the points :(

My point is that I think Strikers are in the wrong price bracket for Generics. They should be in the 29-33 range honestly for I1's.

This on top of their overpriced jump to go from bad i1 to still-bad i3.

On a similar note- Alphas and Sabers are bad, soontir is good: What's a fair price for an Alpha? A Saber?

Alpha 25-26, Saber 26-27, you’re paying for an extra die and some zoom zoom, other than that you’re a glorified tie fighter. Pretty sure non-Soontir squints go pop about as easily as academies.

Uh, they do have an extra attack die ... and that's more valuable than 2-3 points.

Alpha 32, Sabre 34.

34 doesn't feel wrong for an Alpha to me. Consider that Wampa is probably fairly-priced at 30, has a worse dial, no boost or Autothrusters, and his 3rd red die can get shut off. Maybe Sabers are too high relative to Alphas.

I keep hearing podcasts ask, "Why aren't people playing the TIE swarm? It's good" I think people are. List Fortress is has a fair amount of local events where the TIE swarm shows up. They're not usually doing great, but they're there. I'm also not sure who the people are. I haven't seen a podcaster play it yet, so I'm guessing other people aren't playing it for the same reasons...?

I don't know why XXAA players keep playing the I5s. Is it because they're all I5s and can move in whatever order? Because if that's it, man...all four could be different initiatives and there shouldn't be too much a of problem putting them where ever you want with those ships.

Simple, its good on paper, but it's crazy mental strain over the length of a tournament.

I’d say lining strikers and interceptors with rz2 a wings points spread makes the most sense, my 32 for ps 1 but 34 or 35 for generic with ept and duchess or turr can sit at 40 points and that sounds good to me...on the same note of rz2 a wing man is lulo undercosted honestly...but we all know that

Or one of them could just be Poe.

Yeah, that. If Wampa is doing fine at 30 points, interceptors are AT MOST 10% off from being whatever some made up theoretical "correct" value would be, with a floor of 31. They're a strict (and really big) upgrade over Wampa.
