Not got many options outside of that since all of the Large bases have been cut from Hyperspace, and they aint got a medium based ship. Kinda leaves you in a spot where 5A or 4i4 is the go-to build. A couple of players did well with mid initiative beefy lists, One guy took 4 T70 with Hull and heroic to 5-1 day 1 before dropping like a pro. A few Poe lists around, but seemed to struggle at the sharp end ... probably because Poe dies where other aces dont.

I really feel like the swap to koshka makes it a lot more real, i'm thinking more than playing right now, but when i look at the lists i want to bring, koshka makes most of them pretty sad.

- Everyone gave up on Empire, which I think is a mistake.
- Rebel beef is still amazing.
I made the cut with Empire at UK SOS. They are definitely not at Boba/CIS levels, but not terrible.

My Poe experience is wicked limited, but it almost feels like he just doesn't work. He's kinda too hard to keep alive as an arc dodger, but if used as a bruiser, he just doesn't do enough damage. Or at least, too hard to keep alive or too little damage for his price. Poe almost seems like an awkward hybrid of Soontir and Redline that just doesn't quite work out.

Yup, the Boba and CIS are just things we knew that have been confirmed.
New things:
-Resistance I had pegged as being the actual powerhouse and apparently I was wrong. It could still be that there is so much there that is viable that the right combination of ships plus the time to practice them hasn't been found.
-FO might be more dead than I thought. Easily the most hyped faction behind Scum's obvious good stuff. I'm sure some FO apologists will come out and tell me I'm wrong though.
-Imperial had a lot of people believing in Maarek and I don't understand that. Hopefully Listfortress will have stuff that tells us what people brought that didn't work I guess.

-The meta is still super young. The good things we expected to do well did well, and the couple of real surprises were some Republic players. Normally I'd walk into this thread and proclaim Extended as the savior, but there were enough interesting things in the cut to make me think we are just an emergency ban of Slave One away from a pretty great format.

Worth noting that he topped Swiss in Day 1 with a 6-0, then 5 rounds of single elimination so 11-0 over the two days. Crazy good pilot, but definitely not a meme list.

The guy has been flying it for quite awhile and top16 at some major events. Not a list you just pick up and win tournies with. He put in the reps with it.

North American champ Carson Wray put it pretty well, the best use of poe is to get four dice, that's either HLC or Proton torp.
With HLC that means proton torp is your go to if you want four dice poe, but thats not as good with all the beef around, and its expensive and I don't see people playing it.
