What does Han need? To be even cheaper? Or does he just need something like Lando crew to come down?

He needs a 3 dice gun. Or failing that, he needs to be able to double-mod the "perfect shots" when you do get them lined up, and do so by himself, in one turn, and without paying 29 points to have Lando copilot.

Perceptive copilot+Lando crew to have limited rerolls is too expensive and not good enough, either. Ironically Han Solo gunner might just have been enough.

Maybe a Lando Gunner card with his pilot ability? Take a stress to reroll all blanks, 10 points?

Hey rules guys, can I use toryn or dodonna's pride to lock linked to a coordinate linked to a calculate, all for "one action"?

It's epic, do what you want man

Honestly several scum ships with a Gunner slot could benefit from a conditional third attack die.

what about a lightweight frame, but for offense, and unique?

"While you perform an attack against a ship whose agility value is 2 or greater, you may roll one additional attack die?"

Punishing one title + this = 4 atk die dengar, so no.

Already exists though nowhere as easy to set up:

Dengar (56)
Trick Shot (4)
Punishing One (8)

Ship total: 68 Half Points: 34 Threshold: 5

Is it just me, or would Quickdraw, Tavson, and Rush be a hilarious list? First Order Zugzwang.

So then we'd have 5-attack die Dengar.

Again: no.

I wasn't agreeing with the suggestion they replied to, just pointing out that 4 red Dengar already is possible.

Some sort of a way to sometimes get a 3rd die might not be bad, if it stops at 3. Having a target number of defender dice feels strange. A gunner which makes it easier to kill Soontir but not easier to kill Ten Nunb seems odd.

Spend 3 refilling charges to add a 3rd attack die? So it wouldn't be an every turn thing, and properly worded wouldn't work on Range 1 attacks, but it'd work against any enemy.

Naw. You'd just have to be more careful in how you word it, so as to hard cap the dice at 3. There's probably a dozen ways it could be done, but it's too late for me to try to figure out the best one.

I mean, you'd really want a cap on there for Han's falcon too. Han can already stack 4, 5, and 6 dice attacks under rare conditions, and such a gunner shouldn't contribute to that.

Are we already abandoning hope of a 2.0 balanced around 2 attack dice?

I'm not. "Moar Dakka!!!" just has a **** of a draw right now. Especially with the strong/plentiful def mods some pilots get...

Hotshot Han wasn't bad until Jedi

Title wasn't bad until Jedi

His ability got worse with gas clouds.

So I guess he needs to go back to wave 2?

It's not just you: it's what the faction wants to be. To revive a dead meme, it can be described as the "No U" faction.

My version of "the Boss moving on to the next phase with stronger aggro" tier list:

S: Quickdraw, Tavson, Kylo with Hate

A: Fanatical on Silencers and Midnight

B: Fanatical in general, Avenger with 5 friends, Kylo with no force power or with Sense

C : Kylo with most force powers, Avenger acting as a weak (but not formation bound) Biggs for 2 friends

D : Null becoming a blocker

F: TN3465 being initiative killed by the first player, so the 2nd player uses the corpse to hyper-mod the shots on all those matching initiative ships on the right initiative without consequence

Costs mean everything (see why Rivas is the best filler TIE FO and TN is only in niche lists despite having a more attractive ability for a blocker), but Rush might end up as an S Tier. The uncertainty of being able to nuke him or land that crit strengthens the presence of the Zugzwang (still, the real feelsbad is if the FO player kitted him to the expectation of being an I6 mopping up, but loses before time as an I2 or gets crippled so the I6 means little). Phasma looks to be a solid A minimum for the Xixor ability on a jousty ship, but being able to pair that with Rush (a controlled way for triggering him thereby offering Zugzwang), Quickdraw, Fanatical, and especially Tavson could push her to a solid S.

Fair ship FO inbound, where after engaging them charges their effects, they split up and go crazy?

Balanced is a loaded word. The lower bound is really "are 2 attack dice ships relevant?"

Answer: I don't know, man. I decided to take a break when the majority of my casual games were against either Jedi or Inquisitors, and I'll check back in once points are updated in a few weeks.

Oh, I meant that like 60% of the ships in the game are 2 die attack ships that are just unplayable trash.

One man's unplayable trash is another man's movie ship.

I really wanted for the TIE aggressor to be good, but...

Edit: Sad reacts only for the aggressor.

I don't have a reaction image for "Aggressors are super thematic star wars for me because they were super annoying in SWG grinding pilot" but those memories are are way more solid and nostalgic than the actual movie ships, so I say to you NAY. You mock my pain!

I was going to type something else, but then I realized the biggest surprise was that anyone played SWG at all.

In fairness, I played SW:TOR when it came out, and then 15 minutes later when everyone got to endgame and quit I had no one to play with 😢

Sad react because I can't find a 2nd one anywhere (at least not at anything close to MSRP).

I don't think flying two with Ion Turrets, Vader, and some 4th ship would be actually good, but I don't think I'd hate my life for running it.

Two of them with ICT are 66 points... you could get 3 APs for 69 points, which seems probably better?

To be sure. While I'd guess it's one of the better ways to put Aggressors on the table, that's not a very high bar to clear.

Tallissan Lintra: i5, 2/3/4, s-tier dial with a turret and boost, 36 points

Malarus: i5, 2/3/4, tie fighter dial, 39 points

Oddball: i5, 2/2/5, b-wing dial, 35 points

Really? SWG still has a reputation as one of the best multiplayer RPGs, if not the best, ever made.

It was less popular because it didn't feel very star wars until space combat dropped, but yeah. Before wow totally changed what success meant, it was wildly successful.
