Deflectors won't fit in a good rebel beef list.

Naked Wedge, Selfless Braylen, Leia Cassian, and Biggs in a list requires Deflectors to be 1 point. And that's without Swarm Tactics on Wedge, which is a big deal.

If you drop Braylen to a Blade, that gives you the most points I can see to try to squeeze in Deflectors while running a Wedge, Cassian, Biggs, and a selfless buddy (5). But then you aren't running Braylen, which is a mistake.

And either way, the points change in a few weeks will make this even more impossible.

There's an imo interesting discussion to be had here.

Apparently, Cassian+Braylen is by now seen as the core of the list, with Wedge as bonus. Historically, it was Leia-carrier + Wedge. That is an interesting shift.

My argument is that it doesn't matter who is right - you can reduce either Wedge or Braylen to a generic. Reducing Wedge down to a selfless Blade saves you 6 points compared to now. For one point more, you get a dorsal-VTG-Dutch. Reducing Braylen has the added benefit, that you can get Cassian down, too, and save 8 points. That was not just viable but instead very successful early on, and I am sure that it will still get good results. According to pink brain matter, the scout is just slightly better/more successful than Cassian already now, without a reinforcing Biggs.

Of course it depends on the points change, but I think it is something to keep in mind.

I'm honestly a little disappointed the Smolencer isn't a little more grey. Maybe it's just the photos, but the appealing thing about it to me was that it had a bit more contrast with the wing panels.

Eh, I was sticking with my originals anyhow. They're like great, imposing Shadow crabs.

If there are a reinforcing biggs and a selfless carrier, you need to have compelling action, range and focused fire reasons to not shoot the selfless carrier thought
