Al lists in TTT. If they won’t export automatically to list fortress, I’ll be inputting them tomorrow (unless someone beats me to it)

Unless you are @Brunas i guess.

Can you even see those dice?

I'm sorry, but being Chad is all that matters. I can repaint my own ****.

I have no idea, haven't seen them in person yet.

I'll help you.

The lists are wild mix of official squad builder pdf, pictures, yasb, ttt entries and other things...

Also just a note, nobody plays 5 Awings. Which is only noteworthy because some try to paint it as this meta monster that's everywhere. But it isn't, only few play it.

These guys play a lot of tie swarms!

Edit: and if anyone could confirm that Robert Ramm uses 2x swarm tactics and 1x crackshot (just my guesses!) that would be great

It looks like the correct list for rebels besides beef and 5Ys is Wedge, Dutch, Leia on a Partisan, and a 4th ship of your choice. Could be Biggs, Norra, Garven, anything really.

I know, you'd think so, but people everywhere disagree and win anyway

So @Tlfj200, in our vassal game last night i saw something really interesting- something I never see locally and even only rarely at big events- namely, you were "willing" to win.

THE WILL TO WIN

I did a hyperspace yesterday. Lost first game by 43. Second game by 13. Third by 7. Then went 3-0 and ended up with an MOV of 1635 which was 5th in swiss for MOV. That was better than any of the 4-2 and over 200 more than any other 3-3 guys. I took the submarine strategy to Mariana Trench levels. Went a bit too deep.

So, in Eindhoven sos, about 145 Players, 4 juke (actually, one with crack) phantoms won in the finals against kylo/hate, blackout trickshot and midnight..

Cheers!

Rob was tactics on Howl/Iden and crackshot on Gideon.

Sweet, thanks. I was just thinking about starting on listfortress, so I was just about writing you

It's worth noting that Lukasz, the one playing FO, is now at his 4th or 5th System Open final... That's some high level of consistency there

I would also love to see the whole event on Fortress because from the little I heard in the stream there were relatively few rebel beef lists in the field

Wow, meta development is so fascinating! Looking at the Trial in Arizona, suddenly TIE swarms in the US, too, after the british, germans and polish showed that it's really good.

Just a week or two ago I had to really try and convince others that TIE swarms are good and performing well - that's why I overemphasized it so much in my analysis. And now they are everywhere, which will of course pull down their overall performance.

Phoenix has very few tie swarms, it’s just that they did well.

turns out tie swarms are better jousters than dumb fire rebels.

weird.

The only weird thing is that there was even a discussion and that it took so long

2 notes on this, first there probably would have been 1 if the head judge was playing not judging, and second RZ2 have been a bugger to get hold of in the UK, out of stock all the time. That has depressed the numbers certainly.

And to add the event at element was ace!

I have no doubt the Inferno Swarm is *very* strong. But I just couldn't "enjoy" flying it. If you're not having some level of fun I don't have a lot of interest in flying it it for 6 games over 12 hours.

I just vastly prefer independent functioning pieces and some freedom to roam. But you'll never hear me say swarms are bad. They just aren't for me.

I got a bit distracted playing x-wing in cut. Managed second. But I’ll be on this at work tomorrow if it still empty.

The best german podcast (of those recorded in a car...) made a point in the most recent episode that playing TIE swarm is inherently close to or an actual an NPE - for both. Their reasoning is that a swarm player is incentivized to play slowly and that he has to choose between being a nice and being correct. They might have a point there.

I enjoy playing against them, especially on vassal, but I was lucky with the people I played against I guess.

I'll start and see how far I get.

edit: so using the import, there are only 28 16 left to fill in

He's winning every third, so he'll loose Next one, and then win another.

With most people abandoning Fett in Scum, it's removing pretty much their number one opposition.

They had a lot of counters pre-points adjustment, and do match up very well against Rebel Beef. Most voices in the community have acknowlwdged their power, but also that they're not fun for a lot of people. It takes the rampant jousting ability of 4/5 ship Rebels to bring out the swarm, basically.

They can also paste a falcon if you can catch it in arc.

As someone who travels to play there on a regular basis, I would say Phoenix has always been a haven for TIE swarms. Maybe it's just that I keep running into Iain Hamp and his disciples.

Oh, I'm aware, and equally shocked.

But I think everyone bandwagoned.

8/69 lists were tie swarms... so I guess it wasn't THAT low...?
