From what I understand, he’s Nathan Eide’s driver, but his car projects nightmare dreamscapes (and his Bluetooth blows).

I had two reapers, that sounds like two players.
I just now pieced it together that Kulbee Sperado with closed S-foils can Focus, link to Boost, then open S-foils. I feel like this is a good ability that I've not seen anyone discuss once.

it's an every other turn ability for an i4 ship that sits at the same price range as thane, garvin, etc. It's good, but you gotta believe in being better than your opponent instead of just flipping crits up or passing focuses around.

My initial reaction is that Kulbee feels like the most expensive ship in a flock of cheaper stuff instead of the least ship in a group of 3 aces.
No rationale for that, just gut feeling.

Or we're all bad, and the noise in our analysis prevents us from measuring where the Rebels are good.

Thought about it on paper for about ten minutes. Didn't feel like it was the answer to the question I was trying to answer and moved on. It would have been much more valuable if the barrel roll also had a linked focus action there, but it doesn't... Not a complaint really, but really makes Kulbee very situational.

Why couldn't you use it every turn? You just flip it the next turn before you activate and repeat.

u rite.

That must be my quota for the week.
Leevan Tenza with Debris Gambit sounds interesting as well... boost or barrel roll anywhere near a rock, get a white evade token for free and the dial is clear for next turn... still don't have a focus though... Juke?
A lot of the X-Wing pilots feel on the verge of being powerful, but just have that edge that keeps them in check.

Yep, with r4 astromech he's a worse skull squadron pilot for more ![]()

you can do it every turn - flip sfoils closed when activating, focus->boost -> flip open

God, it's like a haunted house/horror movie.
Muffled screams. Flashing Lights.
Do not stare into the Void, for it may stare back...

I would go to dramatically more haunted houses if they all featured angry high compression v6s

No Chris you're supposed to keep the narrative that rebels have lots of great ships and it's just the people who play them are bad and whiny.

well, rebels do have some great ships - the people who play them are also bad and whiny - repeat for scum and empire
also, the average rebel player appears to be significantly below average. Actually, that's backwards - the average "below average" player appears to gravitate towards rebels, which really skews chassis performance.

He has 2 more HP, which include shields, and a 1-straight. It's still not as good, but you do have some advantages.
Edit: I guess it's more of a "here's a ship I like" more than "this is an above average ship".

So if someone like Paul or Bunn picked them up they'd do great with them right?

Concordia Faceoff makes that fang's HP dramatically higher, under relatively easy conditions.

I'm not sure where the satire ends, but... yes?
One tournament result set does not a meta make.

The VCX (as well as the YV-666) was out for months before people figured out how to kit them to make the viable.
So... Maybe™.
