Honestly, I like X-wing turns 0-3/4 more than any other turns.

Everything before the first round of combat is super interesting.

I think its probably because there are "more" options available to both players during that stage and the mistakes are way less obvious.

I do that, then I use it to make pretty formation pictures on the board, before making my box. Honestly, I like X-wing turns 0-3/4 more than any other turns.

I mess up those turns a lot so I've tried to come up with prerehearsed openings, but the last few times I played I improvised those setup rounds and it was great.

Wish I'd taken pictures. I love the Z-swarm because when I set up, what my opponent doesn't realize is however they engage, there will be a box around them on turn 3.

I want to be flying X-Wings but outside Luke (and unable to build the rest of a list - I'm no architect) I'm coming up blank.

Realization: Why am I fighting this? January is likely to bring a points change of some sort changing the meta at some level. Fly Rebels when the time comes, right now I should just enjoy my TIE Phantoms.

So I tried out naked Luke/Wedge/Thane/Sabine last night and it is fairly effective. It seems like the strategy is to flank with Wedge and try and get 1 hull dmg on your target before Thane fires. It jousts pretty well since Luke is naturally tanky as well as Sabine and Thane hopefully should be using a focus just for defense. Wedge is just there to strip away shields and help get that one dmg card in for Thane to flip. You could also possibly add Torps to Luke/Wedge and SR to Luke if you want an 8 point bid.

I saw the end of the semi finals of PTL when Bohan was flying this list. It caught my interest and is on my list to try. Maybe on a Tuesday night when somebody tosses something not totally ridiculous on the table I'll give it a go. It's got dice, anyway.

I think all the sad Rebel players just realized they were Resistance players all along.

I'm still waiting on the RZ-2 AWing to get my full attention. Maybe the conversion kit Resistance Bombers too. T70 stuff is a solid start though.

Yes. One of my favorite bad 1.0 squads was Poe, Jake and either Braylen or a Stresshog. I'm looking forward to something similar.

From the cards we've seen so far, the abilities seem to pretty much all be in the vein of 1.0 power cards though - passive modifiers, adding dice, free reposition actions (generic BB Astromechs with Supernatural Reflexes lite?!). So the Faction Identity seems to very much be "wait, why do we need 2.0?"

So glad BB-8 is a reposition still. I’d like to have seen reoccurring charges, but I’ll take it.

That card exists and is called supernatural reflexes...

Is it the sky-is-falling-Wednesday today again? Must have missed the memo..

Resistance apparently wasn't invited to that party.

yes, kylo. Stop repeating what I say!

M9-G8, even you've betrayed me!

That stuff looks fun. Probably high cost.

I expect they will be priced (roughly) according to their power, so I don’t consider myself doom and gloom about them, just really disinterested in that playstyle. I do expect it to draw in a lot of people who actually enjoyed those things in the later stages of 1.0 though. And I definitely judge those people.

Funny, because my first thought upon seeing Poe was "Wave 5 Soontir that can take a hit" not anything from later stage 1.0. Though I suppose he does need an R4 to perform the traditional hard 2 green

Are we looking at the same resistance?

Hah, yeah, I know. I just mean I’m glad they didn’t fundamentally change what BB-8 does.

Does this work on VCX Kanan?

...and Resistance Falcon Rey, too?

That sounds...too good.

(Sees "Small Ship" limiting text)

Noooooooooooooooo!

Takes 2 charges to trigger with reoccurring charges would have been great. I'm sad that dancing Poe won't dance as often now.
