And double Miranda / Outrider in the final. Guess we'll see what Dash vs Leebo does.
That was a pure lesson in flying. In the hands of another player, Miranda gets taken off the board, and about 5 turns earlier.
George flew amazingly against a great opponent. A shield-less, limping Miranda who had lost her Adv Slam ran rings around that Jumpmaster and boxed it in with great flying and great bomb choices. Great game to watch.
Any idea what time the final round will start?

What (possibly) happened?
Didn't matter in the end as the possibly offended party won (Miranda/Leebo).
But the opponent was shooting at Miranda on 3 hull/1 shield, insisted Miranda had 2 hull /1 shield before firing. Two damage first shot, one damage second shot (IIRC anyway) -- so depending on the board state Miranda lives or dies. Judge wasn't certain, stream thought the state was 3/1, but the defender ultimately conceded and took Miranda off. He might not have had to, but he did win in the end.
George wins with his brilliant Leebo/Miranda build, with some excellent plays in the final few rounds. Couldn't have been won by a bigger character

Leebo just one a major tournament guys, and the runner up Bartosz beated 3 different 3 jumps players in his top run, it's quite amazing considering he was playing Dash and Miranda
Congrats to him! You have George's specific buildout? I'm always curious the details...and does anyone know the highest placing Imp squad?

It is clear from the final match that Mindlink needs a boost (since S&V were engaged in gravelink by that time) and Leebo needs a good nerfing - it is finally time that his reign of terror comes to an end! BROKEN! NPE!!!

Yep, that about sums it up.
After the terrible first day, both yesterday and today have been really great. The only complain I may have is the lack of participation prizes on yesterday's hangar bay, it feels a bit cheap in an event of this magnitude.
But first day aside, kudos for everybody: TO's, refs and players.
Also, mission accomplished: no cards will come back with me to Spain, although I have no idea if anyone from here besides FTS Gecko and Coolfishboy got any. If you did, say hi!

Well, I must say Bartosz really had lady luck on his side during his top 8 match. Either way, good player!
