Hey all, just wondering - how does flamethrower work? Is the damage reduction cumulative and stacking every time you encounter a monster, or does it only reduce it by 1 for the duration of the encounter? Thanks!

it would only apply to the combat encounter that the investigator with that Asset is taking part in at that time. the monsters strength value would then be normal for all future combat encounters where that asset is not a part of the combat resolution.

It is not cumulative as in "permanent" reduction each time you use it, but you can Combine it for example with the Fishing Net for a total of 2 reduced damage to a minimum of 1.
