I have had this in my mind seence I played the 1 adventure in pazios Kingdom maker adventure path, I really like the opend sandbox approach, but can't stand D&D as a system. But this idea I thik would be doable in a far off part In the Old world, The boarder Princes come to mind But It Seems to inhabated for The campains layout. Should I follow my dream to do this in WFRP or should I not.

I say go for it! Don't worry about the Border Princes they were made to be fluid and constantly are in turmoil.

If you are nervous about that send them to Lustria or a new found island somewhere.

It is certainly possible. WFRP is quite easy to convert adventures to, I have converted D&D adventures on the fly to WFRP3ed, as well as adventures from earlier Warhammer editions. So I'd say go for it.
