Also extremely excited to mount so 5" dual barrel and 6" triple barrel gun emplacements on one of my VT-49 Decimators to really emphasize the Decimator part. (Plus the Curtiss SC-1 Seahawk fighter planes-comes with 2-are perfect scale to squeeze onto Armada squadron pegs.)

Around whatsize where these cannons? Im thinking of using them for Legion terrain when it drops

They're 1:700 scale US Navy Deck Guns...the ones used on the Y-Wings are about 5-8millimeters long...

There's also a splash of purple (two shades in all cases) on the exterior of each wing. Very small splash and also not visible in any of the photos I took due to the angle...

How about tiny puck magnets to stick the turrets on? Then they should rotate freely and no worries when they fall off

edit: looks like you already finished them all, those turret upgrades look great!

The Kartharrk Pirate is 24 points, so technically I can run all 4 of them in standard play (with a whole 4 points to spare!). But, frankly, they're shelf decorations - in standard format I'll never need more than two but the card art was too good not to replicate on the ships.

I am about to start running a custom campaign format for our local group (Maine) and I'm sure the players will love to verse four kitted out Scurrg H-6 Bombers

I love that color scheme too. Those are beautiful, what red are you using? This is Vallejo “dark red” with a black wash and clearcoat.

I am using a base coat of Citadel Khorne Red, a light nuln oil wash, followed by a dry brushing of Citadel Wild Rider Red.

More B/SF-17 Bomber Love, realized I did this MONTHS ago and just never posted it...now I have to crack it open an add LEDs...

Full B/SF-17 Bomber Wing , I am (for fun) running all three as Crimson Squadron Pilots with Accuracy Corrector, Sensor Cluster, Tactical Jammer, and the Crossfire Formation Title this Saturday at a Q1 event.

I'm curious about your really nice Avenger. Is it 3D printed? If it is, where did you get it ?

It is 3D printed and is from the Mel's Miniatures shop on Shapeways . I chose the TIE ball variant, there is a "normal" variant also that has cockpit glass closer to what the TIE Silencer ended up looking like.

I've always wondered why the TIE Avenger's appearance is so beloved. I think it's close to a good design, but having the solar panels as far aft as they are makes it look odd to me.

It is certainly an odd looking ship, I got one because it looks odd (and Mel's had a TIE ball variant, if that detail wasn't available I never would've gotten one) and I enjoy running custom written campaigns where odd ships can be easily added to the game.

I do wish, rather than make the boat that is the TIE Silencer, they just made a sleeker TIE Avenger for Kylo's fighter in TLJ. Basically take the TIE Silencer and scale it down to just slightly longer than the TIE Advanced. But nooooooooooo, let's make a freaking boat of a ship... *rolls eyes*
