FFG will slowly replace IA with Legion. The new expansion box of Leia let me think that there will be a lot of expansion packs as IA.. And FFG will focus his attention on the new wave, rather than a dying game.

IA is hardly a dying game and is still selling well.
Legion hasn't quite hit the shelves yet and although it looks good, does not have any player base (yet).
They also appeal to different people. I'm done with terrain building etc (after 30 years of 40k). I'm sticking with XW, Armada and IA (because Legion will never replicate the campaign aspect).
Hm. Ok what if we got a box that takes place on Sullust with lava hazards, and some ‘outside’ inside terrain in the city/factory
Just because there is a lack of updates on skirmish does not mean it's a dying game. As someone who works in games, sales of IA have been extremely good over the past year and have only increased when they released the campaign app.
I am hoping they don't believe that updates for IA would conflict with legion. With a release date of more than a month away, that's just plain silly. And I do think they are making a mistake by not releasing any meaningful IA content since like October.

Replace? LOL! They're too totally different games and Legion has an uphill battle. Also, IA isn't dying. They just introduced the ap. There's more to come.
Congrats to X-Wing for getting... a rerelease of half of Wave 10? 
edit: I kid, of course. Good to see one of the other Star Wars games getting something. Weird days when we're even rooting for X-Wing to not be an underdog.

If you look at some of the new X-wing cards- there are Death Troopers and a few other R1 callouts that look like they'd be well placed in IA...hmmm...IA foreshadow perhaps?

I'm totally in the dark when it comes to Skirmish maps, but did we know this was coming?
Also- as far as I can tell, the highest product ID is the Nal Hutta Swamps map at SW151. I can't see this new map's ID yet, but a gap of four numbers is how we knew HotE was coming last year, so fingers crossed. (obviously, the lack of a gap this time doesn't mean nothing is coming, either, of course)

I'm not too surprised, though. Regardless of announcement, I believe we've been expecting this map for quite a while now. If new stuff is being tested, I'd imagine it was put into production after this map.
I believe this map is even late to the party? Missing most regionals ?
maybe some sort of back log with IA is contributing to the lack of news. I expect a wave announcement AND new app content either campaign or one off style challenges before the end of March. Mark my words!! Also that isn't really to much to ask lol, maybe even to little.
