I got so excited when I checked FFG homepage and saw a picture of Ahsoka and then so disappointed seeing that it was for Destiny. I just want some freaking spoilers. Aren't we due for one by now?

Hate to be that guy, but we haven't had a Friday article (even including updates and map announcements) in almost 16 weeks. It wasn't Legion, but it's already happened.

Two Star Wars game articles today. Does that mean we're more likely to get an IA article or less likely?

Optimistically, since we got nothing other than "the App is still being worked on" at GenCon, I would expect a HOTE article by end of this week. I'm guessing an overview of some of the new deployment cards since those were on display or maybe an article on the new Imperial classes.

We've already had that, the article from a few weeks ago spoke about many of the deployment cards and the Imperial classes. It also went into detail of the heroes. Considering that the previous article gave a lot of info about the figure packs so that we actually know most of the components, I actually don't expect another article until either the release or an announcement of a new wave.

We'll probably get articles for the ally/villain packs, too.

But to answer @machfalcon's question, I don't expect anything this week. The X-Wing Wave, the Destiny expansion (*suppresses vomit), and unless I'm mistaken the LCG were all announced at Gencon- not sure about the LCG, though. Anyway, seems like these articles are playing the catch-up game with GenCon this week, so I don't expect anything, especially considering how we were basically shafted at GenCon anyway.

No IA today? mmn... my thoughts are in Legion wave Announcement tomorrow.

Armada got a big announcement. Since they also didn't get anything announced at GenCon either, this actually gives me some hope.

And it's always good to see our other red-headed stepchild brethren also get an article.

I'm a huge fan of Thrawn from the old books, so I'm excited to see him turning up more. Without knowing anything about Armada his ability looks pretty awesome; at the very least it's thematic.

"Announcing a new Star Wars product" was quite a misleading phrase for when a tabletop gaming company launches a gimmicky app...

The last force Friday product was the force awakens x-wing core set, which was available to buy on force friday. I wonder if this time it will be a new game or another core set for an existing game, and will it be available to buy next week.

Ahh, ok. I didn't get that from the article, but it would make a lot more sense.

Maybe I'm too pessimistic now, but I seriously doubt it'll be anything for IA. My money is either on a new game, or a sequel core set for Armada.

A 2nd legion core set makes sense given the ground bAttles we will see in the next movie. It could be released on force friday and he the 1st core box.

More boring options are a last Jedi beginners box for the rpg or adding the new fighters to the just announced x-wing wave. Both would be consistent with previous product announcements.

Worst case scenario is a second IA core box using the LEGION scale, with all support that isn't backwards compatible.

OK, just to say it out loud: Maybe a new IA core set in the new era? App driven of course. (Odds of this are 3720 to 1)

I think Force Fridays are first reveals on new movie stuff. So whatever it is, I'd expect something TFA or TLJ themed.
