Usually, the characters shown on maps are pictures taken from their Deployment Cards. The new map shows a picture of Boba, I haven't seen before. Might that be a hint to what we can expect?

Traditional "Wow Look Another Destiny Article" complaint (even though they haven't gotten a ton lately) but now that that's out of the way- pretty neat that they're bringing in Cienna Ree from Lost Stars! Man, what a time to be alive!

Okay, Rebellion has done Leaders, Missions, and Combat/Units.
Unless there are new Objectives or planets, I'd imagine their previews are about done, at least.
You know, I didn't even get my hope up this week. This has gone beyond "a slow release schedule" and is starting to feel very bad indeed (not just for HOTE but for the whole state of IA in general).

Yeah, I didn't really expect anything either. We had the Rules update and the skirmish update. Now we can go eat outside like the dogs we are, apparently.

I'm not worried though. I don't think this says anything about how IA is doing. The next expansion is already at the printer; it's up to them how they want to space out previews leading up to its release. Unless they say it's been cancelled I think I can manage to wait

Nah, no need to panic. There is so much material already, time to put on the creative goggles and make your own campaigns!

This whole thread is making the wait more brutal as it's created a day to day false expectation.
Dig out your core figures and touch up their paint jobs or strip and re-paint them with a new color scheme. You don't need FFG to keep this game fresh!
I guess I've got plenty of material to tide me over for a while. We've got 4 more weeks of Jabba's realm. Then one or two fan-made mini-campaigns. Hopefully HotE is out by the time I've gotten through all of that (with maybe a short summer break). Of course, I need a month or two to paint all the new figures before we can even start HotE (can't play with unpainted figures of course).
Even so, I'm not asking for the next big thing, I just want to know more about HotE!
The reason Destiny and Rebellion articles came out bc they hit the boat this week. Once IA hits the boat, we will start getting them.

I still don't think Boba Fett is going to be one of the fixes. I just don't. That being said, I don't much care for the blister pack announcement so much as the unit announcement for what is in the box. I want to know what all of those units do and its hurts me to just speculate without no news or idea what they actually do :(.

I want to know what new Imperial classes will be added!
So a local game shop in South Africa has just added it to the September preorders... Not sure if that means anything.

Oh lord is Destiny getting dumber by the release. "Rookie Pilot"? How thrilling FFG. The silliness I think even surpasses Star Wars Miniatures in its later iterations. I imagine the next release will have Rebel Pike Guard.
