It was near impossible due to not seeing all the shield dials whilst sitting down. If you can still choose a fleet, dont take a tricky small ship spam. They live and die by the smallest of margins, and it **** impossible to judge without a birds eye view.

It looks like it was inspired by (or the inspiration for) the Raider.

I think an electronic warfare ship would make realistic (RW) sense in the SWU. However, SW is more about heroes and blasters. Slicer tools seems to be for Flotillas.

I'd be surprised if we got anything before wednesday. I really hope we get something wednesday. Last weeks goose egg was an unwelcome surprise, because I was so sure we were standing on the precipice of like 6 or 7 straight weeks of articles.

I wonder what the community apology event will be when this wave is delayed. Another sullust? Another fleet building contest? Something completely different?

It's also pretty amazing we haven't been officially told of a delay, though it's getting clearer we are getting one.

To be honest I'm not even mad about the single wave for the year, I could get behind that idea for sure. Not being able to get the campaign printed in two plus months that's pretty bad and questionable. I don't even have an issue with them telling us about wave 5 when they did, but seriously don't tell us it's coming when you have zero capability of delivering on it.

Well X Wing is the cash cow, and with the tie-ins to Rogue One, it behooves them to make deadline on that product over Armada.

Still doesn't suck less however if we get shifted to a 2017 release.

The way FFG is pushing IA and X-Wing, I doubt we will see much about Armada till the end of the year. Maybe the beginning of 2017; depending on how unlucky we are.

My biggest issue was the push to have is preorder product that we won't be getting for at least two months and actually have no idea when we are getting it.

I preordered from Miniature Market, and they broke up the order for me after the fact. That way I won't have to wait it out if they're separate.

Well lets see...

The Core Set was supposed to come out around the same time as IA but came out Q2 the following year.

Wave 1 was supposed to come out at the same time as the Core Set but was late by a month or two.

Wave 2 was said to come out somewhere between July and September but was pushed back to November last year.

Wave 3 was broken into Waves 3 and 4 both of which came out later than originally slated.

At this point I think it is just par the course for Armada to get delayed and shafted due to IA and X-wing being bigger cash cows.

I don't know why they seem to have decided to delay the Corellian Conflict to be released later or most likely alongside Wave 5, I would have figured it would have been easier to print than even IA.

Well, I guess it depends on point of view, but for me this is actually good. There are tons of builds to try and later release means that I may actually have a chance to buy Liberty before new stuff...

I can kind of imagine it is... but locally X Wing is the largest FFG product. Sadly, you don't get more than a dozen players for monthly casual tournaments. I know roughly the same amount of people who own IA that own Armada. At least you see people willing to come out for random IA games.
