I'm starting to wonder if FFG is holding back on articles because they want to release them all after the Halloween period. You know, Christmas rush and everything.

It would make sense if they have a way to guarantee that the product would be on the Shelves for Christmas......

Honestly? I've heard mixed responses, but most of the Negatives have been on the Collectable and Gimmick aspects.

The Game itself, almost universally, is described as quick, but deep, in options... It will, of course, be okay playable out of the box, but being collectable, will require investment, and the curve might be difficult to manage on it.

But some people have complained that the dice are a little "too big", andhaving ot hold 5 or 6 of them to throw them is difficult to do unless you have monster hands, and even then, sometimes you can go more than that.... And that a dedicated rolling area is really required, and that they won't fit most dice towers...

So it has the potential - and a lot of the negatives are nitpicky - but they just might have enough substance to it...

We won't really know how good or bad it is until the Initial Release on the 12th of November... That's when more than just a select 5 or 6 people will get their hands on their OWN copies and be able to start really messing with what is there.

I boycott it as I have no money for something collectable.

BECAUSE AS OF TODAY, THE IMPERIAL ASSAULT WAVE, AS WELL AS WAVE 10 OF X-WING, IS NOW "ON THE BOAT".

WAVE 5 ARMADA, AND THE CORELLIAN CONFLICT, IS *NOT*

I mean, I wouldn't be surprised if they just held off until after worlds at this point. Obviously I would like info on it, especially since it will affect some of the Regionals I'm heading to (hopefully, if they ever actually get here).

But at this point it seems like they're plenty busy and stuff like that prepping for Worlds.

Not to be super negative, but I have kind of developed the theory that this series of the Competitive track has become the "red-headed step child" if you will. Personally, I felt like the Worlds prizes were.....uninspired? Like I am so much more stoked for the Regionals prizes coming up than the Worlds prizes right now, and I'm going to Worlds. It kind of feels like they're just trying to get through this one so they can move forward on to the next track, and then it might be a bit more consistent information with a better outlined schedule.

HAHAHAHA!!! I did the same, good ole' God Mode for civ 4!! It really does seem like a fleet is the only way to stop the invading hoards, but I can never get enough built in time...I need to try again with some of the mods out there for Colonization, but that's going o have to wait until after a play through or two of Civ VI!

I'm an hour away from being able to play Civ 6. Stupid work keeping me away from my laptop.

Now that, basically, Wave 5 isn't going to be here for Christmas, I'm now relying on nothing breaking in what remains of October, and November.

If I can get through November with nothing breaking, then I can give my Toddler Christmas this year, without having to give up on meals for myself.

And that's because the 2 Copies of CC I have on pre-order weren't actually paid for by me in the first place....

I can push a little bit of the debt envelope, because I know when Wave 5 hits, I should have paying work to do on those squadrons... But I can't push too far, because nothing is guaranteed on it....

My ******* Civ 6 CE wasn't delivered. I'm kinda pissed about this. I didn't pay $10 for same day delivery for it NOT arrive the same day as it was released. Never again am I ordering from GameStop.

But as I've said - I've been effectively gifted 2 copies now... I had funds for it and christmas, and then, y'know, Electric Oven hit the end of its life, so there were repair works there...

So I went to the store to drop the pre-order, and I ended up leaving the store with them both still paid for, and the refund in my pocket - so I'm thankful for those (anonymous to internetland) donors.

Which puts some Duplo on my Kiddo's Christmas list, because all he's had for building so far is a wooden trainset and some basic square blocks, and he's EVERYWHERE with those, so I gotta start the Lego early with this one....

I always just buy it on steam. All preloaded and ready to go so when a release happens it happens instantly.
