Article Predictions. Mostly General Discussion. But there's definately some Predictions scattered throughout.
Eh, Unimpressive thusfar.
I mean, yes, it is only a first trailer...
But Unimpressive.
Yeah it was really bland and boring, but at least we have something else to look forward to. Unless you don't like GotG.
I wonder if they'll pretend it doesn't exist for months and be super shady on the release date?
Honestly, I've dealt with the lack of news by thoroughly enjoying Shelter: The Animation.
I'm waiting for Civ 6 and then I'll be to busy playing that to care if Armada gets any news. After Friday, I'll be here a lot less. Except during downtime at work.
same here!
60 euros..... I'll wait for a Steam sale

I got the collectors edition ![]()
I'm not a big fan of the new animation on Civ VI. I'll probably stick to V unless it's on some silly cheap sale down the road.
That being said, I get to play Civ slightly more than I get real Armada games in.
I'm looking forward to Civ6. I was very dissapointed in Civ5 - the AI was badly made and the espionage system made me feel like tearing my hair out. That being said: I recommend you check out Endless Legends (they just released a DLC, too). It's very much like RuneWars on the computer.
Civ 6...I crave not these things...I CRAVE ARTICLES!!!

.... I still only own Civ III.
And I miss the cheesy live-action advisors of Civ II.

Unfortunately, it seems the AI will remain as dumb as ever.

Meh, I crave RoE III but we can't always get what we want. ![]()

Lol...me too, but too much work on my part! ![]()
I'm probably going to buy the new Masters of Orion. While I heard mixed things all my friends who have played it said I'll love it. I have a mac so unfortunately I can't get Galactic Civilizations III or replay GalCiv II which is perhaps my favorite strategy game of all time next to Civ III.
I'm restricted to either totally turn based, or something that has an absolutely rigid 'hit pause anytime, and nothing too frantic' real time system, because of my Boy...
But I've been so bored (and so broke) recently that I went back and started playing the original X-Com, through the OpenXCom project.
TFTD is still Wonderfully masochistic.

Even if the AI is dumb, like in SoaSE, you can still ramp up the difficulty, or be like me and put dumb constraints on yourself and see if you can win.

My father still plays Civ 2 on a regular basis. He's scary good at it.
I can't believe nobody has talked about Civ IV and how amazing it was.
I've been back on my EUIV kick since the release of the new expansion. I think i've spent about as much on that game as I have on Armada.
As I said, I never got to play it.
Civ IV was fun, but I was young when it came out so I didn't understand all the mechanics of it so I lost a lot.
Clearly the best of the series was Civ BE/RT
Granted it was a beautiful game, made even better with RT and the terrain enhancement mods.
I'm okay with a "dumb" AI. The issue with the AI in Civ5 is that it is irrational. "I'm gonna declare war on you, because the planets are aligned and its saint swithens day." - "I'm going to demand EVERYTHING you have for trade in exchange of this one luxury, no matter how many concessions you've made in the past and how you've fostered our friendship, because - well - my dog said I should." It killed the game for me.
also, I miss having multiple leaders for each civilization - that was cool.
Civ VI has 2 leaders for Greece for the release which is weird, since all the others have 1.
