Article Predictions. Mostly General Discussion. But there's definately some Predictions scattered throughout.

Nope, still not a very complex product.

You've clearly never seen a manufacturing facility from the inside; but hey, good luck with your unwillingness to understand things or acknowledge experience!

I know nothing about manufacturing, so I can't speak to Wave 5, but the campaign is just stickers and cardboard, right? Something I could get at Kinko's? (Sorry, FedEx Office)

Inside the Correllian Conflict box will be a bunch of sticky notes and a letter sized piece of paper with the link to the FFG website. Customers will find the PDF instructions and PDF board that they can print out on their own. They can also use the color coded sticky notes to update the board they printed out as the campaign progresses.

the 10 remaining objectives are just blanks. You make them up.

$29.99

I'll take it at this point!

Hey look, Star Wars news!

STAR WARS (The Card Game) ARTICLE

Hey look, Star Wars news!

You might deserve tar and feathering.

If it was $30 and print it yourself, I'd probably stop buying Asmodee products. I'd keep playing, but I would be hard pressed to spend money with a company pulling that crap.

Like I said, I'm just here for the show.

Hurry, I need more salt before it gets cold!

The Best Salt is in Crabbok's Thread, man...

Getting people whining about Tournament Scoring and how its " inherently unfair " can't be competed against for Saltiness.

The lack of articles is unfair.

The lack of articles is unfair.

The imbalance between your absolute talent at modifying, programming and maintaining the Vassal states of game and seemingly your own personal enthusiasm for the game in general is what is truly unfair here...

I so wish I could, personally, find a way to keep you with the same genuine excitement and wonder for the game and its status, equal to the excitement and wonder you generate there...

Because, sometimes, you seem to hit me with a bit of a "well why do I bother?" vibe, and that breaks my heart just a little....

Personally I like suspense with little satisfaction, after all I greatly enjoyed the latest Godzilla. Perhaps that's why i'm not beleaguered by this information dearth.

Just for your information, FFG still hasn't changed the 3d render of the Arquitens box, yet. It still says "Imperial Raider".

On the other hand I do care - as my involvement in this as-of-now 72 page long thread is surely a testament to? :D

It's mostly tongue in cheek. Although I did cross my personally annoyance threshold a few weeks back I'm not quite as obnoxiously annoyed as I let on.

Some positive news: drove to Sweden the other weekend, had a blast at a tourney there. Armada game night on Thursday - looks like the locate scene is finally taking off. Two tourneys planned before the end of the year. The one in November already has enough people that it will roll. Also have high hope for the X-mas tourney.

(that said I could REALLY use an article this week...if I get one I will be really, really good)

The Best Salt is in Crabbok's Thread, man...

I can say it does suck if you go undefeated and still lose the tournament, but like my pop's always tells me "its not always about winning"

As far as I'm concerned, Crabbok asked a Question.

I answered the Question with the First Reply.

Everything else in that thread is a pointless rehashing of at least 3 other threads that I can think of, that isn't worth the time, because we get to exactly where we are with it now... Nowhere.

Tournament wins are like the sprinkles (your favorite variety) ON TOP of the icing ON TOP of the cake.

Playing in an Armada Tournament is already having the icing on the cake.

Maybe we should get that FAQ council to write us an article about all the new cards and how they will work.

So they can be emphatically told that they're wrong? :D

I've considered it... But I ultimately, decided against it.

Mostly because, in some cases, there just aren't enough details to make a decision... There are pages of Rules Discussions that show it.

I mean, take Sato.

The only thing we emphatically know on Jun Sato's ability, is that it allows you to replace two Dice.

Unfortunately, we do not know what replace means in context of the rules, and there are lots of "its clear" arguments back and forth that are about as clear as mud... I have my opinion on the matter, and I do voice it.... (I do not believe its entirely unreasonable to consider it may be after rolling the attack pool)... But I can't tell people, that it will work that way...

I feel that's unethical.

You are only "wrong" because they do not like you're answer. That's when they get to bend and break the RRG so they are "right". And you're only ever wrong when FFG says so. So up until they release and article, you are right with your assumption.

I usually agree with you, but this seems a bit self-inflated. As if your thoughts are the be-all-end-all. Perhaps you answered it completely, but others disagree. That it occurred in other threads doesn't mean that all people participated in those. Ultimately, it is a discussion forum and no one has the "answer" that will end all questions and complaints.

Also...Come on Armada article!

You are right, it is self-inflated.

My thoughts are not the be-all-end-all, the rules are, in regards to the question. That's it.

Like it, Love it, Hate it, doesn't matter (and that is all the thread is now, varying forms of those 3 statements)...

The question was asked, "When did it stop being about wins?", the answer was, "Its never been about wins..." Didn't need to go any further than that.

The whole thing is now, just a Salt Trap.

Only if you read the question as it is, not as it is meant to be. You did answer the question, but certainly there exists meaning other than what your question answered.

BTW, I agree with your answer. I just believe that there is a subtext that was also inherent in the question.

Screw inherent subtext... :D

This is a type-and-read forum. I can't read body language, tone of voice, or anything that would imply subtext in a statement without any measure of veracity...

If you have something to say, say it, I feel... if you don't say it in your post, you didn't say it in your post, and its thusly irrelevant :D

Dras's words are the be-all-end-all.

His words echo through the halls of the forums.

His words come from the FFG gods themselves.

His words bring us comfort and understanding in our time of confusion.

Only few dare utter "Dras is not right..."

And we bury those heathens under a pile of rage and RRG interpretations.

Only Dras can lead us from the desert.

Only Dras can bring us back into favor with the FFG gods.

Only Dras can bring back the articles.

Only Dras will make us legion.

I'm bored. Work is slow and my experiments aren't working and take too long to fail.

Amen. An attack on Dras is an attack on us all.
