Doubt it's Disney. They have subs articles for literally every other start wars game. In fact it might actually be just every other game period.
Article Predictions. Mostly General Discussion. But there's definately some Predictions scattered throughout.
New Angelus. Called that one.
Mansions of bloody madness
Oh come on! Where the **** is our ****** articles for ***** sake. An FAQ? Expansion previews? A dev write up or scenario god ******* **** it. ***** **** ******* ***** ********************************************.

shots fired!
I really don't know how small they are, but the articles in the past weeks proves that they focus on EVERY game in there arsenal BUT armada. Even the 40K stuff they lose in a few months.....
To be fair, you knew what you were getting with Spartan Games. I saw the neat Halo ships and thought "hrm, maybe" and then I saw Spartan Games and I was like "lol nope."At least you aren't a Halo Fleet battle player waiting since May for an FAQ Update.
Hmm, are they that bad?
Was thinking of getting into halo ground command
They are a small company that focuses too much on a single game leaving other games hanging for months:( Which is why I waited a while to get into the fleet game.
Talking about different things. They were discussing Spartan Games.
Thanks. I will probably hold off buying HGC then.
Save for Armada christmas presents(if they arrive on time)
As I was just pointing out:
Destiny went on the Boat this week... They are expecting to have enough delivered to be able to do their Pre-Release to Select Places on and about the Weekend of the 19th of November... They have stated that this is a special pre-release, and the Case of stock that's being delivered to those locations is only available then, and is "before normal release", without giving an actual date of release...
So a Christmas Release is still possible, assuming the Boat takes less than 8 Weeks to Deliver enough stock, and it gets on the boat pretty **** quickly....
October 10 = Last day for Christmas Day Release assuming 8 Weeks On The Boat.
Subtract weeks from that for shortened shipping times, if you're feeling lucky...
Hahahaha...short shipping times...FFG...hahaha
Laugh it up, Fuzzball.
Ive come to terms that i'll be using my tax return to buy the next wave and Corellian Conflict *welp*
I know that the pre-release stock for Destiny is quite limited, but stores will get a fairly decent supply.
Unfortunately, even if the game flat sucks (which it doesn't) all the pre-release stuff will disappear the night of the event gua-ran-teed
I actually played it for the first time today and while i still think the dice are stupid the potential for the game is quite good. The basic concepts start clicking into place mid-way through your first game and it has that deadly combination of simple rules that lend themselves to deep strategies and clever synergies.
Its going to be a game that is easy to get into but super hard to master.
But the dice are stupid big. and Gaudy. and big.
To give an example, you can have a character that brings 2 dice to the table, you can equip up to 3 upgrades (each with dice) meaning to even activate that character and roll their pool you have to hold 5 of these big, bulky dice. I was playing today with a guy that had smaller hands than me and it was comical watching him try to shake the dice in 1 hand, they were so big they wouldn't roll over and if they did they would most likely fall out of his hand. I can imagine if they are aiming at the younger teen demographic the big dice were a big mistake.
Another issue: say you roll 5 dice for 1 character, then a secondary character with 1 die and 3 upgrades, now you have 4 more dice in your pool, in a subsequent turn you can discard a card to re-roll any number of the dice in your pool. If you want to re-roll them all you now have to hold 9 gigantic, horrible dice in your hands (plural, as even with my average sized hands any more than 3 or 4 is not rollable with one hand comfortably) and when you let them go they bounce all over the **** place and its a pain. Now imagine you have played in a couple of support cards and want to re-roll them too...
You start wondering why make such crappy big dice? then you realize it's so that they can print the gaudy pictures on them so you know which die goes with which card or upgrade. It's lazy, they could have done a better job by making them 20% smaller and arting reel guut to iconize the images (hell even iconizing and putting the Icon on the card as well and having 1 face with the image since all the dice seem to have a blank side anyway). If you have ever played Roll For The Galaxy, the dice there are done with icons, they are tiny and look delicious and are a treat to roll a big cup full. These dice, you dread having to roll.
Ill stop now.
Edited by HastatiorHi guys!!!!!
Long time no post!
Eh...I couldn't show my face around here after getting Corsair (B-Wings) mixed up with Dagger.
Hey - call it a typeface choice malfunction.
Anyhow, no articles from FFG...man it's barren as.
BUT...surprised no one's posted about this yet?
Minature Market has put up the Corellian Campaign for Pre-Order (I think Ozgamershop has too.) as well as the Wave 5 ships:

Is an ON TIME RELEASE too much to ask for?
Seriously, you'd think one of the biggest companies in hobby gaming would be able to put stuff out in the time period that *they themselves* decide to announce.
But the dice are stupid big. and Gaudy. and big.
They will sell huge BB-8 and R2-D2 Dice cups to roll them with.

Perhaps, theoretically, for the US. The rest of us: definitely not.
More realistically FFG boats spend months and months crossing the Pacific ocean.
Hey! We're on page 69!
GIGGITY!

The problem with FFG that they grew too fast. Board games never was a very lucrative business because you spend a lot of money on design, figurines etc. Just look at the details of the Armada ships and imagine that they have to create a whole dang production line for each and every ship! And they have tons of games they have to mass-produce. Meanwhile even with add-ons you can't increase the price forever because your customers simply wouldn't buy the product if your profit-margin would be higher.
FFG already told us they had serious problems with Wave 4 production - quality issues and lack of production lines. With so many games and so many add-ons they have to invest constantly to keep up the supply or they have to reduce their production output to make room for every product.
I think they reached the point where they offered too much but they just can't deliver it any more. Hopefully they are not much in debt otherwise that would mean they have to shut down the production of some expensive and less-lucrative titles (like Armada). If they can keep going within 1 or 2 years they may get back on track and they won't have issues with delivery but I ahve a feeling that both the Corellian Conflict and Wave 5 will miss the Christmas rush...
Well, one fundamental assumption there is that Armada is a "Less lucrative" line, which itself is in question - Relative to What? Everything is, Relative to X-Wing.... But to everything else, its a top seller...

Didn't someone post a link that noted Armada as the 3rd best selling mini game? I don't see why FFG would shut down Armada if that is the case, especially with the new movies coming out
