I predict the Venator will have a single redirect.
The Venator will be the first ship that is not a huge to have 6 defense tokens.
All of them will be Salvo.
Wild speculation demanded by the blog writing people.
1) Articles posted in January. Stuff comes out in Feb.
2) GAR - Venator, brace, redirect, contain, salvo. Arcs setup kinda like a Imp Arq. one carrier option, one more ISD 2 like. No ion slots.
Pelta, evade, brace, redirect. Squishier than the Rebel Pelta but similar slots to the Hardcells, one has fleet support. Bad shields.
CIS
providence- imagine an MC80 but with brace, redirect x2, salvo. My thoughts are CIS uses upgrades (BDR, Tide) to fix crits as a faction theme. One high squad count but no O retrofit and the other battle cruiser type has O retrofits because weirdness.
Recusent- medium base, super weird arcs (keep with the CIS theme from the Muni), brace, brace, salvo. High shields but low hull. The brawler to the Munificent flanker.
End of wild speculation.
That Venator does sound interesting, even though Contain still underwhelming

So long as it comes with a weapons team and defensive retrofit so that I can add Reactive Gunnery and Local Fire Control to it, I'm fine with that.

I could see a Venator with those stats. If it had two redirects, Obi wan would love it and I'm sure EST would be stapled to it with him. Any thoughts on possible commanders coming with the next ships? I think Anakin and Grievous will be at least two of those commanders
I predict Trench as the Admiral on the Providence and ol’ Four Arms on the Recusant. Or maybe the other way round?
