A few Q delay would make the CW factions nearly unplayable on standard tournaments. I don't think they would do that after all the hype.

I 100% think they didn't intend to do that, but with the sudden change of ownership I think it is likely. But after looking at AMGs stuff I'm feeling like they will do a good job (it just might take some time to pick it up)

And yes I mean Venator and friends hopefully it comes quickly though, because like you said they probably won't be competitive with just 2 ships

Based on what we were told in the past if the timing is early 2021 then everything should already be on the boat if not already in place. I don't think Venator and friends will get delayed but I do worry about follow-on waves.

Did you miss the part where they have an official release date of 12/4? For wave 9 that is. For wave 10 we still just have unofficial leaks with mid-January dates.

I did indeed. I'm actually surprised after the delays we've seen with previous waves.

I'm going to go out on a limb here. Hardcell article Monday, Rules article Wednesday, For Sale article Friday. Card pack will not get a preview.

What if they drop the Hardcell article tomorrow and then drop the new rules early next week before release? Maybe we'll get a chance to test out the new rules before release? I want to know any changes before building new fleets

They specifically said during Gen con online there would be an article about what cards will be changed.

They might combine the Rules and Card Pack articles as they are related? Although I'm not sure what would go into the Card Pack article - they can't cover all the cards. Perhaps they'll mention a couple then link to a new Errata Reference file with all the (new) cards.

This thread has been far down before right? CW release just got a lot of people excited. Was it wrong to bump this one back up? It's only been a few weeks.

I am curious when Wave 10 will be announced. It’s a momentous wave, what with the Venator and a likely Grevious commander for CIS. I fully expect Venators to be bought in groups of 2 and 3 by most Republic players.

I plan to get at least one of each of the four ships when they release to start. FFG planned to release by January. Fingers crossed, but I won't be surprized if there's a delay. I can wait since my flgs still has the game room closed.

Kind of it surprised that the forum is getting shut down . It is 2020 afterall. Still disappointed and bummed. I’ll be getting most of my news and info from @Crabbok’s YouTube channel going forward I guess.
