I saw ffg is discontinuing destiny after the next expansion. Makes me nervous but I’m sure that’s just me overreacting.

I'm a bit worried too. Destiny has been in a low spot ever since that distribution screw up. I'd like to think Armada clearly has more steam behind it and is worth continued production, but without FFG supporting the OP properly for 2 years, I could also see them putting it on the block so that their 2 main miniature IPs can meet deadlines.

When/if that happens I'll be releasing acrylic laser cut copies of all the ship tokens so we can keep playing once the cardboard wears out.

He means the bases on the ships for each ship type made in acrylic instead of cardboard.

Technically that cardboard piece is the "Ship token" according to the components page of the Learn to Play booklet.


So yes. (I already have a rudimentary part that has the exact LoS dots and arc lines of each ship but no other info to be used to preserve cardboard in casual settings).

50/50 Shot of some information drop *in general* May the 4th. But we were disappointed on that last year, so I expect nothing.

Further information around GenCon time. Assuming they are still incredibly aiming for Q4 2020, then Article 6 months and 3 months out is mostly precedent for a *big* release in other games (and was so for Armada too).

Can’t wait for the Armada Dial Pack. If there is anything that I need extras of, it’s command and speed dials.

Was hoping for new core set, hopefully encourage a local scene because i'd love to start playing this.

Can anyone hazard a guess on how faction fleet expansions might work, Core set plus fleet exp needed?

I predict an article by next friday acknowledging the existance of new expansions and little else.
