This seems to be the prime opportunity to launch Clone Wars as Armada 2.0.

With the new Season of the show coming out, it’s doubtful they will get many more opportunities to tie in Prequel content.

It looks like they want to go digital with all their games, so a new Clone Wars Core along with a couple of Conversion Kits would be easy. The number of GCW era ships is dwindling while there is a full lineup of Clone Wars content available, not to mention they could double dip with reskins for multiple ships into the Rebel and Imperial fleets.

Multiple signs are pointing to something along these lines; but I’ve been wrong before.

Nothing points along those lines, but only the incidentally close realease dates which is due to the multiple delays.

They can't produce a single expension for whatever reason, how would they come out with a huge investment for 4-6 ships and squadron pack for a different era?

Especially after a 200 $ release.

Agreed. I would be absolutely astounded if FFG could get something of that complexity delivered given how much of a complete mess the SSD has (& continues to be) been.

Unless the complete mess with the SSD is due to them producing more stuff and execs wanting to get the SSD out before the CW stuff did, which caused a tight timeline and causing an issue now resulting in delay.

I predict that the SSD will be in the hands of the people eventually.

I predict that an article or a Twitter post or an obscure Facebook reference will be made by FFG regarding it. Maybe before it drops, maybe later... much much later.

I predict that we'll get some more info about the Rim campaign. Probably before it drops, but nobody would be surprised if it happened after... much much after.

I predict that SSD will be released before Brexit happens.

Do we know if there are any panels, etc scheduled during Celebration this weekend? I know they have a presence there and are running events but I didn't know what the likelihood of more info coming out over the weekend was.

There's an FFG panel on Friday, 6pm local time. But that's mostly for them to announce the next wave of X-Wing (as confirmed at their Adepticon panel). I don't imagine they have anything new for Armada to announce given they just did their Armada stuff.

We might get some teases at celebration for stuff that is anounced, like a new card in Rebellion in the Rim but I doubt it. I dont think we will hear of any new products before Gen Con. I do think we will get our announced products ether before or at Gen Con, so articals for Rebelion in the Rim will probably start in a month or 2.

I predict that the FFG forums won't be a fun place to visit for the next couple weeks once the Episode IX trailer drops at Star Wars Celebration this week.

The unnecessary negativity will be too great and may overshadow any FFG announcements.

I had to wait until TLJ was on Canadian Netflix, basically... I don't see how this'll be much different unfortunately... If I get a 3 hour block to watch a movie, you better believe I end up spending that time doubling my daily sleep
