I love Star Wars and I love Armada

I just received my first MC30, Assault Frigate MKII, 2 more GR-75s and 2 more CR90s.

waiting for black Friday to get my a couple more large MC80s (both variants) and finally the Chimaera. Also picking up an addition Imperial squadron 2 pack.

looking forward to getting the SSD when that is available, and some more Rebel/Imperial squadron 1 packs, and another hammerhead . . Then that should pretty much do it for my collection LOL

until they finally release new waves and products... seriously though where is the U-Wing squadron ?

what do we think the next wave will be? I honestly don't think it will be clone wars even though I want to see it. I personally don't think the rebels need an opposite number to the SSD right away but they could use some more love to offset the size of that behemoth haha

if it helps i was actually talking about the guy that was complaining about bubbles in the game in reference to squadrons without realizing that fire arcs are, effectively, bubbles( short, med, long), PLENTY of ships have bubbles (rebels medical frig title, both ship type titles (star destroyer/mc), raddus), and nearly everything in this game is a bubble of one type or another.

What the argument I see the most often against squads is "I don't like this, it shouldn't be in the game" and it's exhausting. Learn to play the game is my general thought toward those people because PLENTY of lists don't use full squad components, lists that DO use full squad components are frequently reliant on the opponent spending at least a chunk on their own squadrons.

/shrug, or take it as a personal attack in which i didn't even mention you and have generally gotten along with you in every interaction we've ever had on here.

Gink is just a grump so i expect it from him.

Yeah I was going to say that. It’s a good tie-in with the SSD. I’d love for them to attempt an asymmetrical campaign. The other “Campaign” from past games that featured the SSD prominently was also of course the Mon Calmari Balance of Power campaign for swing vs tie fighter.

Random observation: We seem less happy as a community.

I noticed my own post/like count going down(it matters only in the shallowest part of my mind) but honestly I kind of expected it because I border on malcontent/troll as a standard point of being.

but then i scrolled through a couple threads (including this one) and there are WAY less likes than I'm used to seeing overall, there are entire pages with 1 or 2 likes throughout. It's just weird and I blame FFG. Most of us are a bit on edge and, with the exception of really solid/funny posts, seem less likely to like other peoples stuff (I'm not suggesting a change on our part, just noting).
