Someone over on X-Wings "What happens to EU pilots?" thread googled their name to find out who they were.
Apparently, Koshka Frost is the stage name for a porn actress.

Armada is a much more balanced gane then XW and doesn't beed something new once a month like Legion.
It does need a new ship or two for each faction a year and to that end I wait patiently. Be more Thrawn and play the long game.

I agree, I think about 1.5 waves a year with a non-wave release sprinkled in occasionally is just right. It amazes me how every ship in Armada is playable in a competitive list, there are some upgrades and titles that don't see play for cost or just because they arn't that good but we are in such a good place from a game perspective.
You have to keep the hype train rolling though and we have suffered some brutally long periods of no news and/or no anticipation for the next wave. I do wish FFG would tighten the ship so we don't have these huge valley's with no news.
All that said I do think the X-Wing announcement opened up one real possibility for the future and that is the Resistence and First Order as their own factions in the game. It also opens up the possibility that cross faction purchases for that one amazing upgrade might go away, that is how Legion works and it appears that is the direction X-Wing is taking.
As for a prediction for today, it is May the 4th so it would be nice to get something. I'm gonna say we get nothing though just to avoid the disappointment later when Legion and Destiny get their moments to shine and we are left out in the cold again.

Yes and IA has not gone through these long droughts repeatedly. It seems like the wait between a Release and the announcement of the next Wave has been excrutiating more often then not. We are coming up on the 4 month mark since Wave 7 release. That is a long time without news of what comes next.

Still hoping for an SSD but the rebellion woukd need something releasing as well and a huge ship for them 'feels' wrong.
In the mean time, keep the faith. Armadas are built on hope......something like that anyway.

Assuming a SSD would be for some new EPIC format and not standard play I don't think a Rebel counterpart is necessary.
After the X-Wing announcement I do think a FO/Resistance starter is in our future but probably not until after either EP9 or the new Resistance TV show debuts. Just not enough ships yet, especially for the FO.
While X-Wing is forward thinking on new movie content Armada has been traditionally reactionary (MC-75). I expect a new ship in Solo but I don't expect it in game for another year based on past precedent.
At this point I will take any news about whats next.

And/or a new campaign every year. I think Armada is an excellent system for narrative(ish) gaming. 1-2 small waves of ships/squadrons + 1 campaign with extra ship/squadron/objective content would be perfect for this game IMHO.
