No way! 4+ squadron value with 2 offense retrofit slots are required for a true super carrier. Only the ISD I & the Quasar count at the moment.

Eh. Sounds like it's going to end up even more expensive than a victory which is the main reason people complained about the vic to start(plus that horrible movement).

The Vic2 was just so overpriced at the start of the game for what it provided while the Vic1 remained relevant until the Quasar came out. Now it is the other way around with the Vic2 being the strong choice and the Vic1 being weaker overall compared.

well, I do not care about articles, not anymore. clarifications and errata are fine and needed and come by far not often enough (even if carefullnes is important), but if the next ships come this week or in May or in July, that lost importance to me. SSD excepted, but that should have nothing to do with competitive play.

I'm going to drop a little personal note here, since I'm trolling for options, anyway.

I've got a special needs kiddo. He attends a special school during the day, and its the only time I basically get to sleep between otherwise looking after him and working my graveyard shift.

This school has been absolutely fantastic for him, and they're starting with a fundraising walk to help them along - hopefully to expand into a full kindergarten program next year, which would be perfect for us, as it would allow my boy to continue along with familiar faces and location - which, as you can imagine, is very important.

So if you have a couple of spare dollars, feel free to drop them here to help out... This goes direct to the school essentially, and every little bit helps.

No doubt. I imagine FFG wants to give Legion a chance to establish itself. At least a couple of weeks, maybe even a couple of months. Give the people on the fence a chance to give it a try without being distracted by new goodies for their older games.

We might get some news in April, but if I was a betting man I would put my money on May at the earliest.

But to be honest my crystal ball has never been the clearest. Anyone’s guess is as good as mine.

On the one hand I’ve heard the the newest edition is the best in recent history. On the other hand Games Workshop.

General FYI: the longest gap between a release and a new announcement was the 4 month gap betweeen Waves 2 & 3. We are coming up on 2 months since Wave 7.

It's going to be April soon and FFG never release articles on weekends.

We might get some news on Monday if we're lucky, but since Legion has just released I'd expect an article on Thursday at the earliest.
