It is actually a pretty fun and good game. It just doesn't have that Star Wars tag to help with sales.
I doubt that legion will be as upgrade focused as Armada though.
a different prediction: our beloved products will likely get more expensive if this trade war fully escalates. or are the gaming industries simply too insignificant to get targeted and nobody is interested to curb mutually beneficial business?
sorry for bringing this here, backlash accepted. just of interest to me, in a broader picture.

Pretty sure FFG can't justify charging us that much more for plastic spaceships one way or the other. I mean, they're kind of overpriced for what they are to begin with...

China is talking about more targeted tariffs, specifically those targeting trumps base. As our game doesn't have anything to do with Nascar, beating your(or anyones) wife, or white supremacy I think we'll probably be fine.

Sadly, they probably can and will. They're cut from the same cloth as GW. ![]()

Not really.
i mean, we’re speculating on it.
GW would have raised prices already, no speculation.
Otherwise, what do you mean by cut from the same cloth? Is a profitable business?
Mate, I wish my business was cut from the same cloth as GW ![]()

The profits would be great, but your product would have to change dramatically every 3 years, and suck every third edition. Almost like Star Trek movies, only half of them need to be good to keep the money flowing.
I just don't know if I could knowingly shovel out that many polished turds just to keep the rerelease pattern consistent.
But yeah, the money must be nice.

I didn’t say they wouldn’t try. Only that it’s not justifiable, and once I can’t buy my crack at MSRP I’ll stop buying at all, because I can quit any time I want!!! ![]()

Rubbing salt in the wound.
LONG LIVE LEGION!!!
It's launch weekend, they wouldn't announce new stuff for Armada when half the future Legion players haven't even had a Saturday to head out to the FLGS and pick up the game yet.
Plus, you wanna dangle that release cycle in player's nose. Let 'em walk into the launch weekend just to hear there's another new release in the pipeline, get 'em jazzed about not just the now but also the future.

THAT escalates quickly ?
Legion is pretty spectacular. I got to play a small game last night and it was awesome. I really think Legion is going to be ffg’s best game. Give it about 2 years and it will surpass x-wing.

Where is your wave hate? I'm sure Armada will get an article after wave 4 of Legion.
So, Next Tuesday at this rate? ?
I wouldnt expect an armada article till late next week at the earliest. Making it hard not to jump into legion. Good thing I am on spending restrictions because of taxes

They're pushing Legion hard at Adepticon and it seems to be taking off pretty dramatically. The downside is it feels like all their other games are on the far back burner at the moment.
The FFG Legion forum. You'll never find a more wretched hive of scum and villainy.
