Well, at least we know that Wave VII wasn’t even the something big coming

It's all about legion. They are getting super hard on it. The presenter last night did mention within the next month there would be more news for other games.

"Next few months"

I expect an X-Wing product release tie-in with the Han Solo movie (the new Falcon) in May. Maybe an Armada announcement - we are getting quite the list of 'likely' ships to see (Imperial Arrestor cruiser from the Solo movie, Imperial Dreadnought from Rebels, Rebel Braha'tok gunship, nevermind the 4x Resistance ships and 2x First Order ships from Last Jedi, various Clone Wars-era Separatist ships that the Rebels should have access to; and of course let's not forget the Executor...)

But, yeah, FFG is going to be pushing Legion hard for a while. Especially with 'monthly releases' for the first 6 months or so. One gets the feeling they are betting the company on this and need it to displace WH40k outright...

NoT gonna happen. If they had gone up against 7th maybe theyd have made a deep dig but people like 8th for whatever reason

Go for a certain percentage of market share.

GW is continually balanced on their sales and their commitment to their mainstream distribution system of stores.

Getting even a fractional market share (say, 10%) from them would lead to a significant refinance and restructure of the company.

The GW as we know it would be gone... perhaps it would not displace 40k outright, but it could destabilize the whole company...

Seems like Armada is still the weird goth kid in the class...

Good luck, WMH didn't have an impact, I don't see Squads("Legion") having any impact.

WMH totally had an impact.

Judt that the impact it had concurred essentially with a change in the globe and the start of the GFC...

We did almost lose GW there at one time.

/dies from the lack of new Armada info.

Feed us FFG, feed us.

Remember when we were getting like an article a week?

We got an article not even a week old, sure, it's about kits and not new ships. But still counts.

Yeah, but so did everyone else at the same time.... kinda takes the shine off it...

@Drasnighta Any idea if Corellian Conflict was a commercial success for them? It's really what got me into the game (though I'd been collecting for nearly a year before i first played) and is still how I get the most casual kids into it. I doubt another campaign will get "more" people into the game beyond those that would come in from just new conflict groups but I think it would reignite interest in those that do play.

It was on the Reprint Schedule approximately 9 months after release.

Your guess is as good as mine, there. FFG don't actually release that information.

Anecdotally, There are Wave 1 and 2 Releases that have yet to be reprinted.

Really? What from waves 1 & 2 still hasn't been reprinted?

If I had to guess, I would go with the VSD, but that's the only one I don't have at least 3 of.

And Assault Frigate to my knowledge.

Edit: I also have no record of an MC80 reprint, but I am also not convinced that means I didn’t just miss one.

Just me, or did the upcoming page seem to break?

Usually new announcements are tossed into development and new/reprint releases are taken off after either one or two weeks, but there wasn't an update yesterday.

Did the tracking software glitch? Did somebody at FFG forget to hit the button? Are the end-times upon us? Could Wave 8 already be shipping?

Disappointment is the first step on the road to hope.

Quite often you will find that there is at least a day lag, too... it will state a day it was updated, but not actually BE updated until the next...

its why I do most of my update checks on Tuesday’s, where it shows them retroactively from Monday.

Hey guys, you’re never going to believe this. Guess who just got a new article. I can hardly believe it myself.

Star Wars Legion.

it has been ages since FFG talked about them. I feel so bad for that game. It’s been so long since they had their own article. How it’s fans manage to hold on with so little support is inspiring.
