Leia got leaked for Legion, so I assume they'll announce her officially sooner rather than later.

For us, we're probably waiting until the 1st ("now available" article). GAMA's in mid-March, maybe wave 8 announcement then?

I’m suprised they haven’t announced Leia yet. They announced Veers and Snowtroopers weeks ago. I wonder what the hold up is on their Rebel counterparts?

I'm pretty happy the forums are kicking enough that this topic got knocked back to the third page and near qualifies as a thread necro.

curious about the new ships "soon to be" announced, hoping for another medium ship for the rebels and maybe a large/small ship combo for the imperials to balance out the ship imbalance.

I'm in the minority wanting another set of squadrons too imo.

And i think WE ALL want a new campaign announced.

I think they've mostly been announcing the Next Big Thing shortly before the Current Big Thing is released, no? So, like... within a couple of weeks?

Yeah!!! New Campaign!

But this time, I hope they include "Transport" Packs and maybe even Space Platform/Stations and the likes.

So we can do interdiction missions, raids etc.

You know what kind of campaign I'd like?

Make it like the missions in the old PC games. It'd be fun do to one off missions in an order to satisfy a campaign. I'm sure there has to be a way to do that be it pre-formed fleets or pre-setup boards.

Something like X-wing style linked missions would be fun. So campaign without the map but with missions tree where next mission depends on who won previous one or maybe on players decision.

Plus you could throw in some new titles for old ships (like Victory/Assault Frigate).

There's overlap. A campaign would bring either R&V or (more likely) Squadrons 2 aces/generic uniques. E-Wings, Lancers, Phantoms, etc would get a new lease on life.

Anyways word on the street is Legion is releasing in mid-March, so that leaves a decent window of time wherein Legion hasn't come out yet but Armada/X-wing have nothing officially on the horizon.

Hey! Wouldn't it be cool if you had a Campaign that lets you start off small with a 'starter taskforce' then as you/your character progresses you get rewarded (upgrades) for completing certain scenario objectives and maybe even get the chance to conduct R&D on captured territory/planets to unlock new ships/bigger ships?

So it’s been a week and I am inpatient for my new ships. Why has ffg not given us a new article

It would be nice if we got something new today. It’s about the only thing that could perk my birthday up.

My gut tells me that the app is going to be their last release.

I don’t think FFG were happy having to share profits with Hasbro just because of license agreements. I think Legion is a fresh start without those strings.

I think it's going to wait until after legion drops. Some folks over on those forums had heard the playtesting for the next wave is complete.

I hope not. IA could use some more physical content. Though I don't like the skirmish due to the command card system.

Believe me, I hope I’m wrong. I have been before.

IA and Armada are two of my all time favorites. It’s just been a very long stretch since IA got any new news.
