Should I bring you the forms to have them taken away?

LOTR LCG got an article. This is a pack that's been delayed for 9 months or more, so it's a big deal...

Two lotr articles, wow!

Just got a 2nd Hammerhead pack for 40% off at a X Wing Regional.

That's about the only win I'll have today.

Eh, you still have more Regional Wins under your belt than I do ;)

Quick question, does the lower point player get to see the enemies cards before they decide to be first or second

No

Yv 666s really are OP in the current meta. No jokes.

High hull generics capable of responding on mass to a Sloane alpha. No special gimmicks required. Just rogue, grit and beautiful dice.

They look weird, though. So maybe not.

This... is a beautiful observation. The poor things are the single most hated miniature in the game where I play. Just wait until 6+ Valen hit the table. Now all I need is for some poor fool to try Sloane.:D

It's not that I hate them.... I think they'd be fun to run with Squall.

It's more that there's only one in a pack and I feel like they'd be best run in groups of more than 1. I really can't justify buying a bunch of R&V packs!

If I just magically had 5 of the things I might field them more.

I already run 4 Decimators with Valen and Dengar for counter 2.

Yeah, they suffer just like Cluster Bombs, held back by the shear cost of purchase. Multiple home ones just doesnt make sense.

Is that really the only reason they don't see more widespread use?

If I had enough to put them on every ship, that would overcome one of their issues - namely, the ignorability...

I like using Bossk, because it's fun to tempt my opponents to hit him and make him mad - and then to hit back with the accuracy and say "Like a Bossk!"

But I only bought one of the S&Vs, and I'm not really inclined to get more. I don't mind using one or two Bounty Hunters, but they just don't have the aesthetic of a truly Imperial squadron complement.

Bounty Hunters? We don’t need that scum.:P

I would certainly like to agree, but where else do we get Intel from?

While this guy has his uses he also has his limitations. Speed 2 is often not good enough to reposition sufficiently to keep bombing. So IMO he's best when used to gain an advantage in the anti-squad fight (and to troll Instigator). But he'll leave you sore when you really need your squads to bomb, rather than do anti-squad.

I was providing an alternative "intel" source. Not a speed source.:P

You can also play vector, corrupter and/or AFFM.

Well, that's what he's saying

Intel is 2 parts of Bonus. Moving and allowing Shooting at Ships.

Chiraneua provides Moving, which is great for say, Mauler...

But it only allows Shooting at Ships if you're able to re position away from Engagement - and Chiraneau on his own, doesn't provide that. Speed 2 is too slow to expect to reliably leapfrog an enemy squadron engaged on your outside and place yourself outside of Distance 1, unless you're basiocally touching to begin with.

So now, You're now doubling down to Gozanti (Vector), Victory (Corruptor) and/or an ISD (Chimaera or Cymoon for AFFM).
