Yep. Something is something so I am not going to complain.

H*** yes an interview article. They really do know we exist.

PRAYERS PAID OFF THANK YOU FORCE

Wwwohoo previews of cards with the fleet oh yeah!

So with Chimera can you start with a 5pt upgrade and then switch to a 6pt upgrade?

Intensify forward firepower seems weak.

I definitely love Chimaera.

Chimaera + Thrawn + Hondo are the definition of always what you need

I thought the same. Probably an errata on the card's points.

Don't worry! You're gonna have a new isd title: Procrastinator

Intensify firepower is on par with the other fleet commands - it turns one ships one die reroll into all ships guaranteeing one damage.

its also not limited to 1/activation, so double arc for double fun

Edited by Drasnighta

Also article mistake:

defenders/phantoms

What Dras said, but also - you can combine this with things like TRCs for guaranteed 3 damage.

I want to know what the original idea was for Thrawn

I think the one that the Ravage magazine had, if I’m not wrong it increased enemies command values

Also dras, does the "No other icon" refer to just that it has to be single hit, or could double hit still meet the no other icon requirement, as its still the only icon on the die face? That was the major question I was left with after that article. I want to believe the restriction is just to prevent hit/crits, and you could give yourself a double hit on red dice. But that may be pipe dreaming.

You can use IF for both of your attacks, as opposed to once per activation, like the nerfed version of TRCs, so it guarantees 2 damage from a double arc- double the fun. As for the first part, it buffs the token, just like the other cards buff the tokens.

The cost for using Intensify Firepower is your command ship giving up a Confire token.

Other use for Confire tokens in standard parlance is to Re roll one attack die.

So, the command ship gives up that ability by spending its token.

thr trade off is if it does, every other ship can set a die, after rolling, to a single hit if needed.

As every die has a single hit, no die colour is excluded. This provides the insurance of damage at all ranges, fixing blanks on reds and blacks, and superfluous accs on blues.

Also, as there is no independent limit in the turn, a ship can do it on each of its two shots if it wants (unlike TRC or Admiral Terry)

Turns the token from making one ship only reroll a die to all ships in fleet getting guarantee damage. And can be used on double arc, not limited to 1 per activayion.

confused me at first too, dw

edit: Ninja’d and Ghost’d

I understood how IF works perfectly. I didn't get the quote :D

Thanks anyways.

The quote?

you quoted me.

Btw @Drasnighta Chimaera brings more love to Nose Punch!!

You would be required to run Tarkin to first activation nose punch.
