im talkin bout Murican Thanksgiving. The day to commemorate the Pilgrims being thankful for the Native peoples sharing their food so they wouldn’t starve.

That’s the Official version. It’s mostly about spending a day with relatives you barely know and often barely like, gorging on Turkey, Mashed Potatoes and Pumpkin pie till you slip into a food coma in front of a large TV and watch Football, tv specials and/or parades.

Or you’re like my family... eat pizza and binge watch a Lord of the Rings marathon.

I'm amazed they haven't even been leaked yet, the thought hadn't even occurred to me. Jesus FFG has dropped this ball and let it roll right into the street. One of us is totally going to be the pet sematary kid.

I don't believe X-Wing has theirs either, and their regionals start Saturday, same as ours.

No one has their kits yet for the May track. I was thinking that today was the day as first x-wing system Open was last weekend and they released the prizes on that Monday before.

in most places a bunch of religious people leaving so they could discriminate based on religion without knowing how to take care of themselves and being helped along by the people they would commit genocide on over the course of the ensuing decades is not something you celebrate.

that house is not the only thing whitewashed I guess.

I don’t just in case, I’m talking about general binge watching of LotR, there ain’t no thanksgiving in the land of the queen. Only recent National Celebration is her platinum with prince Philip, 70 years together

It is either Lord of the Rings, or a Bond-a-thon for me... Though I do miss the Thanksgiving staple of my youth. The original King Kong. I really need to get a copy of that for my collection.

I'm thankful that, before FFG even had x-wing or Armada, it changed the board game industry with it's high standard of quality - both the games themselves and their components.

Whenever I would hear about a cool new game, I knew that if it was FFG I could at least count on it looking good and lasting many years.

That's the selling point of Legion, for me.

"Oh, it's by Fantasy Flight? It'll probably be good, then."

I wouldn't have any interest in a Games Workshop or Random McStudio Star Wars game. Tokens, no need to track random information! Dice, no need for consulting tables! Cards, no need to consult a giant rule/army book to know what your unit does! (I didn't see a considered game design space with a balanced and heterogeneous meta and streamlined intuitive rules yet also strategic depth until I was already a man!)

FFG absolutely has my number.
